It doesn't degrease well at all (learned from experience), but I have D103 APC at a 4:1 ration to hit things to start off with.Sure you could dedicate a GS for engin bay's only. I have lots of the cheap grout sponges and only two are used for paint (below the knee, LC grout sponges for the majority). The rest are for wheels, lower plastic etc., I like to get all that lower bad stuff first (w/ a separate bucket).
I don't think that ONR is going to have the degreasing power that you will need under the hood, you could use the ONR to clean up after using the degreaser though.
My plan with these GS was:
1.) Hit engine bay with D103
2.) Agitate areas with brushes / GS that need it
3.) Opt ONR to clean off D103 / use GS to help work ONR in
4.) Leaf blow dry
5.) Meg's 4:1 / 3:1 HyperDressing to give factory look
Thoughts?
