Your wash sponge/mitt/pad

What is your choice here? For me it's the griots garage MF wash pad.



Wow. I can remember in my teens, you just bought a bone shaped sponge and went to town.

Wash applicators sure have come a long way! I have just about used them all. Hate mitts. Does anybody really put their hand inside? It was sheepskin pads/mitts for me a long time. Griots still makes a awesome one. Adams wash pads are great too. Two sizes here. Then came the MF craze. I remember how weird the GG pad was to use the first time. But then it turned out to be the best media i have used to date. For me they just work. They come in a two pack. I am still on my first one. When they get dirty, just run them thru the washer. They also come in mitt form too if you prefer that.

The MF mitts that AG sells have always worked for me, hold a well enough amount of wash solution, gentle enough on the paint, last a great number of washes and are perfect for relegating to wheel duty when they're tired.

I started with merino wool mitts from Amazon, soft and safe but after about 10 washes and they're useless
then Micro-Chenille mitts from AG, good quality but don't look as safe..
And just received a new Incredimitt along with other Microfiber Madness towels today, great quality :xyxthumbs: I'm excited to try them soon :autowash:

What "look" do they have that makes them look not as safe. I have used them and no issues. They are soft and stay that way if maintained and do not fail part after being left left to air dry.

Adam's synthetic wool wash pad

Merino wool wash mitt

LC wash wedge

Merino wool mitt and the wookie fist mitt... Just make sure to take care of them and they will last awhile....

They are soft but not as soft as wool/sheep skin mitts and I feel that the larger gaps between micro fiber "fingers" on them don't trap dirt inside until you rinse the mitt so you need to rinse it more often during a wash, but it releases dirt easier & faster though..

....but has anyone used the MF 'Bone' wash sponge? I'm thinking about trying it out.

When I see pics of people using the LC wash wedge, the
paint always looks clean to begin with. Just can't comprehend
that if the paint was actually dirty that it wouldn't cause marring/swirling... Just my 2 cents!
