Jokingly said a guy in my neighborhood as he stopped to compliment mine and my family's cars being so clean and shiny.
He said his kids are always asking why his car doesn't look like that all the time.

Nice to know even the kids notice my hard work and harp on their parents :) lol

Looks like his kids might be your new apprentice.

The force is strong with these kids...teach them you must

Haha that or my competition in the future lol
Instead of kids running around cutting grass they'll be knocking on doors to wash and wax cars!

On the same subject, driving around today I am beginning to notice how many nice cars out there are being totally neglected. If I were to guess it would be 99.9% might get junk washed once per month. I do get many stares at my flawless big black caddy.

Agreed. I always find myself checking out nice cars and seeing how neglected and swirled up the paint is and here my 2000 Durango's paint is way better

UGH! I can't stand that! There are so many in my neighborhood in Philly--a couple of A5s, some 3-series Bimmers and an S4--all in black and NONE of them clean. In the rain I can see that they have mild protection on them, like a car wash from the summer where they paid an extra $4.95 for the wax light to come on in the car wash tunnel. I'm still working on figuring out my technique for my own car, but with some time and some hardware (still all by hand), I plan on taking a walk around the block in the rain with some notes/B. Cards.

I did manage to hit my car up with PBs Dark Prefection kit and some Collinite this weekend...even the apathetic hipsters complimented it. It's nice to see them smile every once in awhile.
