Feed back please

Hey all. I just put Zaino A10 on a black hood and have a couple questions.
I used a PC @ 5. When I removed it by hand, with MF, I left some streaks and cloudy areas. Rather hard to see. I had to move it into the sun to see them.
Did I get it on to heavy, or not wipe off enough?
Should I (PC) buff with a MF hood on a sheep bonet?

Then what should I follow it with- Z5 or Z2?

Thanks. :buffing:

Those cloudy areas are probably un-broken down polish. Z-AIO is a pretty thin consistancy so it should break down nicely, make sure the polish is almost translucent before removal, if you cant get it off go back a re-polish until fully broken down. Its black so I would say use Z5pro for a sealant.

OK Thanks.

I'll reapply the A10 and see what happens. It should not layer-Is that right?

Can the Z5 go right on after I'm happy with the A10? Or should I let (A10) it cure.

How long should I wait between layers of Z5.

Can I put a carnauba wax on Z5 as a final step?

Can ya tell I'm a NEWBEEE?

Thankx

You had me confused at first calling it A10. It is AIO as in a acronym for All-In-On.

Correct, Z-AIO is like all All-In-One's in that the cleaners in it will remove the previous layer of Z-AIO.

Z-AIO has a very short cure time. 20 minutes at most.

How long should I wait between layers of Z5.

Depends. Are you using ZFX? If you are, you can apply layers of Z5 with no wait time. If not, I would recommend waiting till the next day. Just make sure you wash the car to remove any dust before applying another layer of Z5.

Can I put a carnauba wax on Z5 as a final step?
You can but it is generally not recommended. doesn't help the appearance very much if at all.

Can ya tell I'm a NEWBEEE?
No problem, just keep reading on here to learn

I too thought they had a new product .. AIO is nice, but Z5Pro and Z8 are the real hits in this line. I personally like Optimum and Klasse AIO's better.

Still trying to figure this out and not trying to start a product war.
I have opened bottles from most of the named brands and have not found a system that really works for me-YET. Learning how to use my PC, on a black car and my Lemans blue Vette, is very interesting. Its as easy as most of you guys have said all along!
I reapplied the AIO. Followed that with Z5. Using less product was a big help but still had "halo" rings and some hazy areas(black hood). Was about to give up and with nothing to lose. I applied Mothers liquid carnauba on top of the Z5. Presto/chango the haze and halo rings are gone! I have the deep black wet look I was after. Using a white pad(PC) I did half the hood on 3 and the other half on 3 then 5. I got the same results.
How do I follow this up?
What sholud I use as a QD?
How long can I expect the Carnauba to last?
Should I add more Carnauba or top it with another product?
What works on the black car goes on the Vette.
Thanks.

Which Optimum AIO are you speaking of, Poli-Seal?

If so, I agree, nice product.

You can use Zaino's QD and spray wax or if you want to save a little money, you can use Duragloss's QD (921 Fast, Clean and Shine) and spraywax (951 Aquawax). Both are outstanding products.

How long can I expect the Carnauba to last?

Carnauba's generally don't have the durability of a sealant (exception being Collinite). I would add a new coat of carnauba every 2-3 months.

Should I add more Carnauba or top it with another product? What works on the black car goes on the Vette.
Thanks.

Generally sealants will not bond to wax so since you have your car topped with wax, you will probably need to stay with wax until use a paint cleaner, polish or AIO to remove all the wax and sealant and get back to the bare paint. Does that make sense?

Makes sense to me.
Thanks guys
I'm learning

:D

yes .... Poli-seal AIO.

Zaino Clearseal outpaced Optimum Optiseal IMO with better gloss and less streaking.
