New to detailing and am excited to try out the kit i got from Zaino.

1. I don't have a garage and need to detail outside. Is it ok to polish the whole car and then go back and wipe off? I ask because of pollen and any other airborne contaminants getting on the car before I apply polish to a spot or then coming back and starting to wipe off polish where contaminants could have landed.

2. Is ok to use the polish on rims, windows, mirrors, and headlights?

3. If I use Dawn to wash the car first, do I use it on the tires/rims too? After I clay the car do I wash the clay residue or whatever off with Dawn or the Z7?

Use Zaino on everything except rubber trim. Dish soap is your first step, clay etc. Then Zaino away. The more layers the better especially with the Z2.

I used Zaino for yearswith excellent results. They don't sell it over here on Autogeek. I just recently made the move to Polish Angel for a change up on new car.

If you're going to polish outside I'd suggest getting some sort of canopy to avoid the sun and limiting air born particulate

Zaino protects several cars in my family and I agree with what has been said. I guess it is out of date, but it is the easiest to apply polish with the best results of any other product I have ever used. Follow Zaino's instructions and you should be happy. I know I am.

The more layers the better. Use Z6 when ever you wash the car and don't use any other polish/wax other than Zaino. Throw another layer of Z2 or Z5 on when the urge gets you and you will not be disappointed.

BTW my new to me car has a clear bra and Zaino said to use their products on the bra like anything else. My question was answered in 24 hours. Zaino has been on the bra six months and all is shiny.

Layers, smayers..................:rolleyes::rolleyes:

I guess that's one way to sell more product, pushing layering.

I moved on from Zaino 13-14 years ago.

This is on their site from when I did it back in 2003, that's one layer of Z-2 so why add anymore.

Does Zaino have an online forum like this one which is supported by Autogeek?
