Zaino...the best/easiest?

I like sealants a lot. Lately, I've been using carnuaba waxes. This is the time of the year when I like doing a lot of detailing, and experimenting with a lot of products. It gets addictive after a while :)
AG has a nice line of products
Check the Show and Shine section of this board. You will find a lot good products that people are using, loaded with pics, that may give you an idea of what to expect, and what might work for you

zaino i have never tried....is it really so good? what product here is it comparable to?

Zainos claim is durability, it is the king of it. Never had the product fail to outlast me wanting a change. It was originally very fake looking, with no depth and a plastic saran wrap look. Sal has over the years truly continued the line and made some huge improvements. I truly like the Z5Pro, Z8 Spray, Clear Seal aint bad, and new AIO is impressive. That said every product has an equal here, and with the polycharger I got the durability down pat. The Fusion polish will turn your rubber surrounds green if you fail to tape off properly and a bugger to remove.

Z5Pro --- UPP , Wolfgang, EX-P, Duragloss w/ polycharger
Z8Spray --- Souveran Spray Wax, Fk425
CS ---- Optimums Opti-seal
AIO --- Klasse, 360, Poly-seal

Zaino is expensive, but meant to be used VERY sparingly. When you say dusting, are you using a pc? If so, you are using too much. Zaino is meant to be applied by hand, not pc. But if you do, use very very little.

I've actually been using Zaino since 2000 (going on 7 years) way back when Zaino still had local distributors. You could look them up on their website, see who was local, drive over to their house and pick some up. Ever so convenient!

I used to use their "white pads" they throw in for free and that's probably why I always got such poor results. Those things are awful and it's hard not to put too much product on there.

Now, when I put a layer of Z5 or Z2 down, I just use the Megs Foam Applicators and it works a charm.

It's still my sealant of choice and is beautiful topped wiht a nice wax...

Funny you say that...way back when. :p In Hawaii, we STILL have a local distributor and HAVE TO drive over to his house and pick some up. If you go to the Zaino site, they tell you that Hawaii residents need to contact the local distributor.

If I get the Zaino Triplets, will it hide scratches or does polish not do that like wax. Would I need to buy the polish with the scratch remover?

So how good are Cobra microfiber applicator pads to put on Zaino? Any suggestions?

You will need to do proper polishing to remove all scratches as Zaino Z5 will hide *very* little if any.

What about Z-aino all-in-one? Thats what i plan on usin along with the rest of the Zaino Triplets package so how does that compare to the older line of Zaino products? What kinda polish do you reccomend?

ZAIO is no better than the offerings from Optimum (Polyseal) and the original Klasse (AIO). XMT360 would be my choice in AIO's currently.

Polishes --- Optimum, Menzerna, Poorboys, or XMT
