Zora Arkus Duntov Corvettes

I have a pretty good idea about Corvettes and emotion ...
As a young lad...I couldn't wait to see these two sights:

• The Rike's Store's Christmas decorations.

• The new Chevys at Stomp's Chevrolet...especially the Corvettes!!

As a young boy , I would spend summer break at my fathers Corvette body shop in the 70's. I had a lot of fun each summer I spent at his shop .

In your post I saw "70's, Corvette and summer":

The caption for this pic could be:

"WHAT HAVE I DONE TO THIS CORVETTE?"

I bought my first vette, a 98 coupe in 2006. From the original owner who had me pick it up from the dealership for him when I was 16. One of my most memorable experiences. I then sold it and bought an 04 Z06. Best vehicle I've ever owned. I sold it to buy a wakeboard boat but miss it dearly. Going to have to get another soon now that C6 Z prices have settled a bit. Happy holidays and great pictures from everyone.

A few photos of two (2) Cuban "gray market Corvettes":

Very cool pic of the early Corvette Bob. I couldn't see the engine in the black one, I assume its a 54' or 55'? I couldn't see the gold "V" on the side either, sorry.

It's a '54.

And...after all of these embargo-years without replacement parts:
It may even have a Russian or Chinese tractor engine!

Just ordered a 2015 Corvette calendar and I made sure there was at least 1 midyear😎
