"Corvette Guys" have the most uncanny knack for putting the most tasteless trinkets and tchotchkes on their cars rendering them........fugly and classless. But to each their own.

I love Corvettes but I can't argue with you. A lot of the "styling" bits in catalogs like Mid-America should be outlawed! Tailight covers that double as blinds is probably the biggest offender. These are things, in general, you don't see Ferrari owners do, certainly not Porsche owners for sure. Are there some "questionable" mods done to European exotics, yes, but percentage wise it's not even close. Go to any cruize night and you'll find tacky mods done to many of the plastic fantastics

What color would you go with Ron? I wonder how a red and blue stripe would look?

Is this 98 year old Lady
the oldest C7 Corvette owner?

I don't own one but I'm a big fan of ZAD's favorite Corvette, well, atleast I would think it were his favorite anyways:

This was about as close as I could find of what my Dad's first Corvette looked like. He didn't have sidepipes because he didn't know it was available but the rest is spot on. His was $4200 brand new, had the 327/350 hp option, 4 spd (ofcoarse) and a 3.36 geared rearend:

Believe it or not, his favorite Corvette was the 74 454 automatic and he kept his and drove it for many years after his retirement from GM. He was very proud of the 63-67 cars though and once said we finally have a Corvette that I would be proud to drive in Europe.
