I got more cake than a bakery! But you got more dollars than sense!
Agree, I could easily afford any of the Zymols with my business, do I, no, don't see the point when my other stuff is fine and pretty much no difference. I already don't have enough time to use my products anyway, has nothing to do with money.

Oh about not sure where you got that but it does not contain abrasives and it can not remove swirls, light scratches, tar, tree sap...but it will remove old wax or what ever was on the vehicle before puting the wax of choice. Well like I said I'm not expert on Swissvax but that's just from what I have re-searched that's all.

<edit> Here is what I found just a little different "This product does not contain abrasives. Swirl marks, light scratches, tar, tree sap and old wax are made invisible." Please don't take what I'm posting the wrong way, I'm not trying to prove you wrong or make you look bad in any way, I mean no disrespect....just thought I'd share what I've found during my re-search that's all nothing else.
I got my info from the swissvax website, copy and paste.

This paint preserving solution will nourish the paint with its ”heavy” polishing oils. The product does not contain abrasives. Swirl marks, light scratches, tar, tree sap and old wax are completely removed. Cleaner Fluid stops short of the underlying paint layer without scratching it. Apply before wax treatment.

[/FONT]I also mean no disrespect, i am just trying to get the right info out there :) so, where did you get your info from?

I've never used Zymol but someday I will order a few of their less expensive waxes. I'm very pleased with Souveran, Maxwax, P21S, Natty's and few others that I use regularly. I can see the appeal of Vintage if you were using it on several cars a week. At a point it would become less expensive then the waxes I am using. It also has some potential for creating business. Whether an $1800 wax outperforms an $80 wax it is sure to impress a few. I have customers that are floored when they find out the Souveran I used is $80 a jar.

Zymol Vintage $1852 22oz lifetime refill

Pinnacle Souveran $79.99 8oz

If the Pinnacle yields 30 cars per 8oz and the Zymol 84 per 22oz. If you did 5 cars per week. In 2.67 years the Pinnacle starts to cost more. I don't know what the shipping charges on the refills are and didn't factor in a safe return of say 5% if you were to invest the $1852 using it and the interest to purchase your Souveran. The Zymol yield is also unknown but I used the same as the Souveran. Allowing $20 for shipping and 5% interest with a declining principle amount the time would be around 3.05 years. This assumes my math is close which it may not be lol.

Oh don't get me wrong, I really enjoy Pinnacle and I agree bang for the $ Pinnacle is a good product, I would never nock it. Pinnacle is what started the obsesion for me and from there I ventured out and found Zymol plus other products. I have always wondered the power of a highend wax, I mean to make a vehicle looks it's best it's the preping that really counts (I mean polishing/compounding). But I have to admit going from Mothers three step systems my self to Pinnacle Souveran was an amazing difference at least I saw it. Now trying some of those other products I have seen the difference. I'll never say this one is better then this one, becuase I don't really beleave in that...what I do beliave in though is that everything thas a purpose and the higher up products do serve a purpose and I've found that purpose...that's all :D again that's just me and my $0.02 :o
That's a huge difference going from Mothers to Pinnacle.
And about Zymol, again it's nice, and if you have the money, you coud try it, I just see it being too expensive, for me at least.

Yea I know where you got that from because I too found it oh and did you see there video...nasty the way the person on the video was washing/claying and applying and removing the wax..it was difficult for me to watch that hahahahaha.

I've been hitting google lots and I've found many different info on these products...so for me there is no particular source, I question memebers that use the products and like I said I google lots. A good friend of mine told me that when looking into products, see what you find in the net then speak with the company then speak with members that are using the product ask for there opinion as well as the treatment from the company they have purchased it from and then deside if you want to try it or not...good advise if you ask me...so that's basically what I've done.

I love forums becuase lots of knowledge.

I've tried Zymol Carbon, it wasn't worth the money. However, the Clear Auto Bathe was very good. When I run out I will be trying the DP so I can compare.

Swissvax is amazing!!!! I didn't know it could be ordered here, I got mine from across the pond.

I am with you on the time issue:cheers:

There is a perception issue with all high dollar waxes, that they look better, they must after all because I spent 400.00 on it.

Well let me tell you a little story of a metallic red CTS .... where we placed Ital (360.00 Zymol) and Pinnacle Souveran (then 59.99) down the entire half the car. Not one vistor, friend or neighbor saw a neglible difference. Infact, most picked the wrong side when asked to guess. We recently did the same thing on black with Victoria Wax (red version) and FK's Pink Wax.

So I highly suggest using what you want, and stop looking at price tags. While the quality might be better (all hand made for instances) but in waxes it appears most vary little by degree at most. And since none of these beauty waxes last for a rather long period of time, why not choose the one that easiest to use and remove in your eyes after all its likely just personal perception.

there is much to much emphasis but on price. From both sides, those who say spending more is good and those who say go with the cheaper its the same.
I feel (and do this myself) that we should buy a wax based on how it looks and not price.
I have tried a few waxes and my favorties are neither the most epensive or the cheapest. I however dont shy away becacue of price. If i like it I use it.
It is often forget then people like diffrent things. I dont use sov. I dont see the big deal, Thats just my opion. I think its time we stop discussing carnuba content and price and start looking at really matters..... what we as induvudals like
