OOOPS!! I forgot about the other list(s)...Damn it! Not another list
Personally I have the tinted windows due to my eye. I have very sensitive eyes and when it clear sky with nothing but sun I have to squint and blink so much that I can barely see anything.
That! My friend- is photosensitivity :xyxthumbs:
And all this time I thought photosensitivity was when you didn't like to have your picture taken...
here in Guatemala is very insecure right now, you cant stop on a traffic light without be afraid of getting robbed.. sometimes even when you are driving at regular speed..
that is why people start to tinted windows and a lot also the windshield, I personaly dont like dark tinted, but is kind of a necesity.
Additionally, I drive an expensive car. I didn't buy it to show off, I bought it because I like how it handles. I prefer not to have people know what I drive.
How do tinted windows keep people from knowing what you drive? Does it make your car invisible when you drive to your house? Or make you invisible when you get out of it wherever you are going?
Maybe I'm just tired but I'm trying to process the logic of this...someone on the road sees your "expensive" car but they can't look in and see the driver...so they say to themselves "gee, that's an expensive car, too bad we can't see who the driver is!". Presuming that these are the kind of people who would do harm to you or your car...are they not capable of following the car to its destination due to tinted windows?
This thread gets stranger the longer it goes on...vampires, etc.
EDIT: Oh wait, are you the Batman?

I understand the need for comfort but others on the road have no way of knowing who you are or will remember your face in the couple seconnds they see you drive by.

One interesting thing about this thread, other than the opinions, is that we've got a variety of people checking in, not the usual AG'ers, this says something, not sure what inparticular but it does for sure!
