SON1C Wax Carnaubavore is a handcrafted, homebrew wax formulated by a passionate car wax enthusiast in northern Virginia named Drew. What started off as a late-night science experiment turned into a mission. After experimenting with countless combinations of solvents, waxes, and polymers, Drew hit a breakthrough with lab sample number 38. Drew sent samples of his first usable wax to detailers all over the world for testing. After gathering feedback on lab sample 38, Drew tweaked the formula 21 more times before he reached a production-ready wax – SON1C Wax Carnaubavore was born.

Might have to give your wax a test on my own truck. I let my detailing boot camp class learn how to machine wetsand and use a rotary buffer on it as our demo vehicle and so after sanding and buffing it's still in dire need of a coat of wax.

lol! surely there would be a conflict of interest, I do think I will write a synopsis on it but offer more an overview of what it is, how I apply and such, I would never release a product I did not love! Thank you and looking forward to your results with it!

Haha any guesses on what it is? My favorite was when I was approached at one the northern virginia autogeek detail meets and asked if I literally melted down red and orange starburst into my wax!

Congratulations, Drew! If you recall my first post on your proto-wax thread, I commented that this is something that everyone dreams about doing, but no one really has the courage and dedication to go through with it. You persevered through countless batches and formulations, to develop the Carnaubavore!

The fact that you are now able to sell your creation is a testament to your formula and ingenuity! I hope that you see that no matter what happens from here on, you have been able to start with raw materials and a rough plan, and transform it into a product that is sold by a major distributor and retailer. That in and of itself is a huge accomplishment and your head should be held high, not to mention you're in a pretty great spot on the wax page on the Autogeek website!

Great job, again! Can't wait for your next creation! Maybe I'll be part of the testing :laughing: :hungry: :drool:
