I do agree with what you've said though. The healthcare scheme is a joke. I won't even mention the website failures that Obama tried blaming others for. Your daughters numbers are similar to what i experienced when i tried signing my parents up. The premiums and deductibles are ridiculous. Despite being in 60s, they're in good health. Both retired, and no way they could afford those payments on their income.

Puts everything in perspective when people are bitching about a few bucks on shipping...

I'll try to get this thread back on the rails:

I often shop from amazon, but I also often pay the AG shipping even if I could save a few bucks from Amazon. While amazon is very useful, having this forum and the AG staff is a bonus you won't get from Amazon. So I like to make sure I support the folks who are offering me a service.

That said, detailing is just part of my car ownership, and not my job that puts bread on my table. So I can be a bit more generous with my discretionary money.
