Detailing is a hobby for me. I like the finished look of a good vehicle, but I only have two (2) vehicles in which to practice the hobby. My wife's SUV and my roadster.
Earlier this week I decided to go through all of the items I have for detailing to organize them by type and to throw away the things I don't use anymore. What I found was that I may have a problem. I have enough wax of various brands and enough sealants of various brands to probably keep my vehicles through the remainder of my lifetime. I had things that were never opened from companies that either went out of business or got absorbed by someone else. I have items which are good, but for which I have found better alternatives.
My question is, what should I do with the items that I am sure I won't use again, but someone else may like. Is there a Detailer's anonymous for those of us who as a hobby keep looking for that perfect finish?
