Well I got the help from all helpful AGO members on which steamer to get and will be getting it.

I also want a wet/dry vacuum. I saw this one at Sears and looks promising. However, I wanted to check with you everyone to see if any better recommendations are suggested.

Also I have never tried blow drying a car but this seems like it might kill 2 birds with one stone.

Like always thanks for the help everybody :)

Thank you Todd, I would also like to add, while I know it's not a true extractor. I will get one later on. I also want to use it as much as I can as an extractor for now. Until I get one in the future.

I would go with the rigid. Craftsman is more of a DIYer market, where as Rigid is more industrial and used by a lot of contractors. I tried a 5hp craftsman but then returned it and got myself a Rigid 4.5 (the one that looks like a box) and it was a dramatic difference in power, despite the fact they were both 5hp. The Rigid is built better and being that it is a box shape, storage is convenient. All the adapters and hoses are stored inside the box as well. I also picked this one because I've seen contractors lug this thing around all the time and it can be used as a chair lol. http://s4.thisnext.com/media/largest_dimension/981F392C.jpg

I've got 6 or so wet vacs. Fom a 2.25 hp Craftsman to a 6.5 hp Rigid.
This 4.25 I used on the house this morning.

Pulled this one out to use this wknd.

All are capable water removing vacs.

I love the 4 gallon Rigid but for wet vehicles I always use a larger vac because the 4gal fills up fast. I use that vacuum a lot. Because of its small design, filters get dirty really fast. I really hate cleaning vac filters a lot so I use Rigid bags for it and keep it as a dry vac only.

I like Nilfisk Alto vacs. Made to run for several hours. Lots of lift power and quiet.

I purchased a Craftsman and ShopVac Bulldog but they didn't last long.

+1, I've had this one (mine says 5 HP on it...but that small cord is only drawing so many amps from a household plug) for 12 years now and love it. Just remember to take out the paper filter when doing your wet operations and it will last forever. Also, you can get the 1.5" adapter for a smaller hose for doing the inside of vehicles, and when you want more "flow", use the 2.5" option. Flip the hose around and you can use it as a blower. I also got the "muffler" for it...it reduces the noice a little, but it stops the air from blasting out the the exhaust, which I love.

Actually, my hose clips to the unit...so a little different model apparently.

Also, this kit is BA in my opinion. I use it on every detail with no issues. The extra long flexible crevice tool is very handy. You will just need a softer brush for sensitive areas like LCD screens or the Gauge Cluster cover. The claw tool that comes with it is great when you substitute for an extractor.

They sell it in Home Depot I believe, check it out for yourself...don't pay attention to the Amazon reviews.

I always find my Metro Duster or Metro Sidekick blows out the pleats of the filters nicely, extending the life of the filter and providing peak operation...just wear a dust mask.

Get the one with the most power! 6.5 amps is the strongest out there.
Also don't go with a huge one.
You don't need to hold 10 gallons of trash.
I just got a small 6.5 amp from Lowes for under $100 bucks

between these two, wouldn't the craftsman be the better choice? Mainly because the Craftsman blower is cordless and the Ridged one needs a cord to be plugged in and walking around water with an cord plugged into the wall could be dangerous, right? I really want to take advantage of the blower, plus I do have the room in the garage.

and which vac did you get Mario?

I'm not sure if the Craftsman's blower is actually cordless, but it is.. I may have to jump on that one!

I think they were trying to trick us. That is the main reason why I wanted the Craftsman, but if it is corded then I'll go with with the rigid like others suggested

^ that looks like a cord lol, in that case I'll go with something smaller too. No reason why I should be air drying my car and then get electrocuted lol

Are you talking peak horse power or amps? There are much higher amperage units out there.
