I just put together a number of before and after pictures that I will be using to represent some of my detailing services. Nothing terribly special, just some pictures that show how good a before and after image can be for advertising.

Maybe it's just me, but the 4 panel pics should have the "after" in the lower right hand corner. Makes more sense.

It's not you, I had them like that originally. My wife suggested they be in the circular format they are in now so that the before/after images were right above/below one another.

So, not sure which is the best layout just yet :) Thanks for the feedback.

More visually appealing if it was left to right (like reading) by line. Work looks great though!

I agree with ditching the circular flow.

I see what you/she was going for, but for the average Joe I don't think it lends itself to easily digesting what you are displaying.

If you have to have arrows...you don't want to give your clients instructions on how to understand what you are trying to get across. It should be very simple and easy for a potential customer to understand what you are offering; don't make them do work to figure it out.

Great paint work though!

:iagree:

Great 50/50's. They really bring out the contrast of what a vehicle's condition can, and should look like. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I will be changing them back to the original layout as I agree, that is a bit easier to understand.

Boss work. :props:

Great work Justin.

Thanks all :xyxthumbs:

What did you use good job

Thanks! What did I use to make the pictures, or the actual detail work? (pics are Photoshop Elements)

Nice work, I like just the before and after picture. Instead of 4 pictures from each process. But what did you use on the the glass water spots?

Made some updates to the images and added a simple before/after for the leather and headlights:

Thanks again all for the feedback! :xyxthumbs:

The leather seats look great... what are you using for each step?

The seats were done using the Todd Cooperider technique on DI.

In short:
Vacuum seats clean
Apply thick coat of Leatherique rejuvinator, let sit for 24 hours
Spray an area with Leatherique pristine clean and scrub with leather brush
Wipe area clean with an MF towel that has been dunked in warm water and wrung out - repeat until surface is clean
Wipe dry using a separate clean MF towel

Nice work.

Those bottom two leather seat photos need to be used in an advertisement. Very dramatic.

Cleaning products

The hazed paint was: white LC pad with M205

Hard water spots: CG water spot remover

Headlight resto was: 3" white LC pad and M105

Leather treatment was: Leatherique rejuvenator and pristine clean

Paint correction was: orange LC pad with M105, followed by white LC pad with M205
