Review: Lake Country Wash Wedge

I have used my wash wedge several times so far and I love it. It has definitely sped up my wash time. I have been checking for swirls after very use and nothing.

I bought one based on this review too, and I've only managed to use it once with this weather, but it was a joy to use and seemed to work well. Can't wait to put it to more use this spring

Glad you guys are enjoying the wedge I can't wait o get to use mine more once the colder weather breaks.

Oh what the heck, added to the cart. Thanks for the review, but not to my wallet. :)

That was a great review, Evan! This seems like an interesting product to try out. I currently use Lake Country Foam Car Wash Sponge. It does a good job cleaning, but longevity seems to be an issue.

If this new product can hold up better than what I currently use, then I'll be sure to include it in my next AG order.

Happy Detailing, everyone!

I've been using my wedge since January and I simply love it. I've used a microfiber mitt maybe once since I bought the wedge. My wedge doesn't look new, but it doesn't look worse for wear either. I'd guess I've used it at least twice a week since Jan. It's holding up beautifully, it does a nice job and if something happened to it I'd replace it immediately.

Great! Thanks for the update! I do love mine as well.

I've used this twice, and the foam is separating from the handle.

When washing it lays relatively flat on the panel, and could potentially drag contaminants if not used on a well maintained car.

I like the non-abrasiveness of the foam, but I don't think this wedge is for me.

Hoping this is better than the Scmitt I bought years ago after the "feeding frenzy":) here on AG about it. First wash with that thing and it separated once I put my hand in it and tossed it in the trash. :(

Very different from my experience with the Shmitt, I have one still going strong after at least 5 years (I bought a spare at one of the Detailfests, which is still in the bag) and showing no signs of failure.
