Thank you!red never looks so good, awesome job...
Thanks for the kind words!Very nice! You do incredible work.
Thank you for taking the time to read and comment!I'm not surprised with the end results due to your experience and always seem to do great work.
I'm a bit surprised at how well the Hyper Spray worked on those nasty swirls.
Goes to show you that we don't always have to reach for the 105 or any other harsh product to remove defects.
I've read it doesn't dust at all, I watched Mike and a guest of his who was there to show off his product and the results were good but this car you worked on really showed me how well it works. :iagree:
Much respect for you due to the amazing work that you do:dblthumb2:
Thanks for the review and pictures, that's how we all learn about products we never used.
I've never used a" Spray Polish" but with the outstanding results you got with this beautiful car makes me want to try it.
Great work bud![]()
Great job Zach
I just did a Blue G8 GT for the first time two days ago! Lovely paint to work with! I used Orange LC's via Flex 3401 w/D151 and it corrected 75%+!
I need to get myself some hyper polish to try out. I just really want Reflect more than anything! Have to use up quite a bit of Menzerna on the shelf first

Thanks!
Reflect is a bit finicky... if you are looking for a one step polish I tend to use OHP a lot more. Reflect has significantly less cut and I often use it as a fine finishing polish, but many have reported having trouble finishing down perfectly on softer jet black paints.
Hmmm I haven't done much reading up on Reflect to have heard about these issues...
Somewhat disappointing.
One would think that being it has less cut it may finish better? All I really work on is Black paint! So definitely don't get rid of my Menz FF3000 or SF4500?

Incredible work and awesome job documenting step by step.
I know how much extra time it takes to document these jobs, so I appreciate you doing it so we can enjoy it.
^No shame! My cars get forgotten about since I am typically working on someone else's car.My wife has a Liquid Red 2009 G8 GT that we've had for a while now. I'm ashamed to say that I haven't had time to do a full thrown down detail on it yet. Liquid Red is an amazing color!
I thought the paint on her car was swirled up,but it's nothing compared to how bad that was! Gives me hope! Those interior pics made me CRINGE. We don't have kids, but our nephews are very respectful of our cars. They step all the way in the car instead of on the doors. I'm planning to use M205 or M105,and I'm most likely going with Blackfire Wet Diamond as my LSP. The results with that Sonax has me thinking though!
Do you have pics of the seats after you finished?? Did you use the 303 on them? I can't make the seats in my wife's car look good. Anything I put on them seems to vanish after a very short time. Coated leather is just a different breed.
I love my wife's car. The G8 is an awesome machine. It's the best riding and driving car I've ever owned. They do have suspension issues, and the AFM/DOD system has caused trouble too. They're not the cheapest cars in the world to drive and maintain, but boy is it fun doing so!
Thanks. Tuf Shine tire cleaner is great! Worlds better than just using an APC.Nice job on this car...paint was in a bad shape but now looks amazing. Was impressed by the amount of dirt comming out of the tires.

I doubt you will need M105 unless there are a lot of RIDS. M205 on an White or Orange Pad would do wonders for cleaning up the light swirls and restoring some clarity.
Sorry, no pics of the seats... I cleaned the sticky messes with D103 and then finally wiped them down with 303.
