I have been thinking of a wax , any wax that can compete with the Collinite 845 on durability regardless of cost. I read up some on how detailers said it was hard to remove, I don't get it, I mean it comes off with one wipe. I let it dry on one panel for 30 minutes just to see if it would be hard to remove, nope, just as easy as waiting 30 seconds. Amazing wax
I love 845 as well and everything everyone has said about it is true. However, in my quest to try different things and make comparisons, I am wondering if anyone has also tried FK1000 wax? Like 845, FK is not really a full wax as we know it in Carnauba terms but more a sealant paste sort of thing. And like 845, I understand it is also heat tolerant which is what I need here in Texas. Has anyone compared these two?
I have them both and prefer FK1000p. Ive never done a durability test, however I cant get FK1000p to streak, although it can be a chore to remove. With 845 I got streaks. FK1000p is quite durable, lasts 3 months for me, which is the longest Ive seen including BFWD.
Great, that is what I needed to know. Now I'll be a few bucks poorer again!
With 845 I got streaks.
I never underatand why everyone goes nuts for 845. Or why if you go to any detailing site to purchase stuff, get boutique products everywhere else, and then get a $15 wax. Yeah budgets, money, etc, I get it. But still, just confuses me. Not knocking purchases just wondering why theres like some hypnotic haze around 845.

Does anyone know the difference between 476s and 845?
I have 476s but reassigned it to wheels since it is so durable. I do want a go to wax that I can use on customers cars. 845 seems promising especially for the cost.
