Hi guys!
First of all I wanna say hello to everyone as I'm new to this forum. Therefore as I've written above I'm going to detail my dad's Q7 2011 but I'm not quite sure what to start with .. I mean the paint actually is in good condition and doesn't have any huge swirls that are so conspicuous but all I've spotted so far are single, shallow scratches in some places (not so many of them) especially around the fuel filler cap. My goal is to get a high gloss and shine to the car. So should I polish the whole car or just simply put some product on to get some kind of shine? Another I'd say big problem are waterspots on the roof as it's a glass roof which are quite annoying.
I think the best way is to get the whole car polished but my dad is scared of polishing as he says that his car isn't very old and it's gonna make the paint weaker and less resistant to the surroundings. I explained him that a car doesn't need to be old for polishing process and that people polish even their brand new cars.
Could you please suggest what could I start with and which products to use? In case of polishing what product and pads to use? I'm gonna work with a Flex 3401.
Thx in advance.
