First of all, I don't know how you older gentlemen do it, I'm in my early 20s and it was a workout. My back is killing me lol, well worth it though.

Huge thanks to SMACK for his guidance and tips, thanks my friend! And thank you Mike Phillips, I think I read every single article you have written before I tackled this job. :urtheman:

List of steps that were taken/ products used:
-Washed using the 2 bucket method with Dawn dish soap
-Clayed, Meguiars Clay kit
-Meguiars DA g110v2
-WG Total Swirl Remover w/ LC CCS orange pads
-WG Finishing Glaze w/ LC CCS white pads
-WGDGPS

With that said, on to the pics! Let me know what you guys think. Excuse the phone pics, I was too tired to grab my dslr.

Looks dam good in my book :xyxthumbs:

Beautiful job Jr! Looking good! Very nice 50/50 shot. That is how a black German beauty should look!

What did you think of the Wolfgang products?

That BMW look excellent and your garage looks good too

Nice job on the Bimmer

I'd say you nailed it. Looks perfect to me.

Thanks Mike! I think they were super easy to work with. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. The wgdgps smelled great lol and it was a breeze to buff off. Very satisfied with the results I was able to achieve.

Wow, great job on some super difficult paint! Nice workspace you got there too 8-)

Awesome results! Smack is the BMW man to learn from!!

If you haven't already picked some up, Detailer's Wheel Coating is great for dealing with brake dust build up. Cleaning up my e93's rims is so much easier now with just soap and water. Adds a nice shine too.

Excellent results; good write-up, nice car, and nice garage!! I like that first 50/50 shot

Awesome job looks fantastic. Had an 08 e92 335xi loved it awesome car

Love the before and after, great job. Car's stance/wheel combo is nice man! Is that stock height or did you lower it a bit?

Thanks!
I'm not going to lie, I was a bit intimidated going into it from everything I read online on jet black bmw paint. I don't think it was too bad though.

Yeah the guy knows his stuff! I'll have to look into that, at the moment I just use Meguiars wheel cleaner spray (purple bottle) and it works great for me.

Thanks
I had a 335 e90 before this one, the n54 is an amazing engine. Damn I miss that car.

Beautiful car. You did a great job. Impressive.

Very well done.

Looks awesome!!!!
Thanks guys

That is stock height, just sport suspension. My last car was slammed and I'm over that PITA phase lol. Thanks.

Just be careful with long term use of strong wheel cleaners like Meg's Hot Rims. Over prolonged periods the acids and lye in it can eat away at the rims.

A safe wheel cleaners like Sonax FE is a good choice IMO. But once you've got them coated, all you'll need is soap and water with some agitation.

Ahhh I better get to coating them instead, I have noticed one wheel in particular that has clear coat failing in a couple sections. Thanks for the heads up!

Yikes! You could get it repainted if the clear coat has failed really bad. 3 of my rims have been repainted after the dealer screwed them up doing a re-balance. I believe it was around $150 - $200 per rim, but the dealership took care of it since I called them out on it. They look good as new now!

Thanks!
