Coated my tires today and WOW,

Curious question, did you purchase this online or thru a local store? I haven't seen it in any local stores around town here yet, just the older T10 spray which i have read is not so great.

Advance has it for sure, well here where I live but they can order it for you ,I know this because I asked:)

seems like the reviews will be pouring in. (great) I actually want to try this dressing too.

You'll love it Art, knowing you you'll like it a lot and for under $15.00 dollars , gotta be kidding.
You gotta try in my friend :)

Mine were looking pretty bad after the last rain, but I hosed them off ad they look really good. Could not clean the FX this weekend, still recovering from my in/out procedure Friday.

We drove our car in the rain for about two hours, I simply wiped them down with the DP Rinse-Less Wash and and Gloss and they looked like the day I applied it.

I was amazed at how little coating I used. I have two kits so this should last me a long, long time.

Wash your wash mitt/rag/etc. filthy like mine always is?

So what is the official name of this? I tried looking it up on YouTube and only found the aerosol ones. Just Copy/Paste. I am trying to find a YouTube video on it. I am definitely picking some of this stuff up though.

Yes. You get tire cleaner, the coating, an applicator, and gloves...which you should wear.

To add, I purchased a bottle of Mothers Wheel and Tire Cleaner (acid free) and washed the tires each twice with this and scrubbed them. I then moved onto the tw cleaner and did another two coats. The suds were white, making me feel they were clean.

She'll get smarter and go to the local pressure wash place. LOL.

I detailed my brothers car this weekend with his assistance. He wanted to try out the turtle wax tire dressing after he saw it on my tires. We went with 1 coat as he was happy with the look of 1 coat. No smearing this time. I learned form the last time I used it. Meguiar's D143 was used to clean the tires.

I was surprised too, when I first used it I hoped I would have enough to do four tires adding more than three coats, well I applied six coats like I said and still have plenty in case I curb a tire and have to re-apply.
I love the stuff. :dblthumb2:

Hoping Turtle Wax doesn't go up on price because it's worth at least $20.00 but it would still be cheaper than a Tuf a Shine plus you can do more sets of tires compared to the Tuf Shine, a lot more :)

They look amazing with only applying one coat, just think how much money you'll save compared to using a "Dressing".
For starters it doesn't cost much more then a bottle of good tire dressing plus it will out last it, I applied mine two weeks ago and no signs of wear, none:)
My Hyper has no chance against the Turtle Wax Tire Coat Kit plus it looks better IMO, darker looking. :dblthumb2:

I searched on Youtube for it, I could not find one video, I'll change that soon unless someone beats me to it:)
Someone needs to load one so others can see for themselves what the fuss is all about.

How are you guys applying it without smearing?

I put like PLENTY of product on the sponge, spread it on the tire, by the time i got half the tire done, it is like all DRY and when i try get the other half coated, it would smear??

It looks smeared to me when I apply it but you just walk away after getting the tire covered come back and it looks good. It's weird like that. It has some weird transformation that happens during the ten minute period between coats, I didn't watch to see what happens but came back and it looked good. I just spread it all over the tire and walked away.

Weird...
I put a lot of product on the applicator and it keeps drying before I could finish 1 entire tire

It looked to me like it was smearing.
So I was like screw this lol

Stopped by Advanced Auto this morning and got this kit on sale for $11.99. The guy at the counter ask me if I had used it or heard of it.
