New Car Prep with CQuartz UK - 2014 Honda Accord

Nice job, bud!

Did you dry the car before applying Iron-X?

Do you use the standard thickness H2O pads or thin with the LHR21 and 75E?

Not too exciting?!?! Basic turnarounds are some of the best pictures out there. It lets everybody know that with hard work and patience damn near any car can look beautiful.

nice work, as always!
Thanks!

Great job from beginning to end. Good information for new car owners.

The Reflect with crimson pad, just will clean up the paint without removing much or any clear coat??
Thanks,
Larry
You will still be removing a small amount of clear since the polish contains abrasives in it, but it will essentially work to clean the paint. There was evidence of a soap film on most of the car from what I assume was a touchless wash, the polishing process removed the film and restored the deep black color to the paint. It also ensured the paint was completely clean before coating it.

Great Job Zach!

Thanks man... The car was quickly blown dry prior to IronX... I'd say it was 75-80% dry. Standard crimson pads.

Great work!

Hello from Morton, btw.
Hey! Always happy to see someone nearby!

Awesome work!
Thanks :xyxthumbs:

Looks GREAT!

I'm getting ready to do my first ever coating on my car and I chose CQUK. I'm getting more excited from every thread I read! My main question is, are two coats really necessary? I have read many people say they do two coats of it. I thought I would only do one and after a year I might hit it with another even though it should be good for two years. Thoughts?

I personally wouldn't bother with 2 coats of UK... but that is just me.
