What wash mitt do you use?!

Micro-Chenille one for me and one for my daughter when she helps. Both from AGO.

Not sure if you are set on a mitt or would consider another option, but I stopped using mitts and now use a natural sea wool sponge. Can't beat it for a 2 bucket wash. They release dirt/grime more effectively than any other material, are extremely soft when wet, hold loads of solution and is a breeze to maintain (no laundry necessary), just squeeze out out and let dry. Well worth the money IMO.

Here is a good article that was posted in a previous thread.

Wow, just looked at the article and this has really sparked my interest.

My incredisponge is nice, but so want something softer. I've been using my chenille mitts more and more lately. I have been looking for something different so I will give this a shot.

Now I need to figure out where to buy them. Anyone know?

I like to go to Lowes and get a flat paving stone and use that... I find that it removes all of the hard mineral deposits and bugs very easily. LOL

All joking aside I use a Chemical Guys Chenille Microfiber Wash Mitt.

Griots MF wash pads! LOVE EM. Just toss in the washer when dirty.

I use a chenille mitt, but always use it as a pad :) like a lot of us do.
Just wondering if the elastic piece to go over the wrist won't scratch the paint...

I use a boar's hair brush followed by a MF chenille wash mitt.
I also like the cotton chenille mitts. They are safer than the MF ones, because the fibers are so delicate. The only downside is that they come apart rather quickly, because the fibers are so delicate.

What do you see as the advantage to using both tools?

I can get the big particles of dirt off with the brush the most safely, as the particles go in between the bristles. With a light touch and a lot of suds, like that foam gun method, I think it is the safest way to start a wash. You can't get a really dirty car clean with a brush. You can't rub hard with it it. For that, you need a soft mitt like a chenille.
I was once with the brush, and once with the mitt.

Today, I use nothing but the Micro-Chenille Wash Mitts. You simply cannot find a better washing mitt on the market today. The microfiber fingers agitate the vehicle's surface to release dirt particles and gather them between the deep strands. Loosened dirt will gather in the mitt, rather than being rubbed against the paint.

Agreed! I've tried the fancy merino wool mitt and was extremely disappointed.

I alternate between Car Pro Wool mitt and Autozone green MF chenille, and a smaller green autozone chenill for the bottom of the truck.

Goodbye mitts, hello sea sponge. Haven't found a better medium yet. Incredible at rinsing free dirt, even brake dust will easily squeeze out in rinse water. Not only are they very soft and hold a lot of soap, but, it also squeezes into tight spaces very well. Oh, you don't have to launder it either...just squeeze out in water and let dry...done.

Sorry could not get on for a day or two :( but I'm back :) thanks for all the help and so many choices!! If hall have anymore just let us know
