Hey Guys,
So recently I had a fundetail come through.
This Yellow 06' spider was actually in good condition, but we were aiming for a high level of correction - 98%+
Foamed down with POLISHANGEL SNOWMAN
Cleaned the wheels with SONAX FULL EFFECT
Exhaust tips with P21S polishing soap and a 0000 steel wool pad (forgot and after
)
Washed down with Citrus Wash n Gloss
Decon step: IRON SERUM -> AM900 to remove tar -> Clay
Popped open the boot to clean the engine, as there are open grille, water will pour in as you wash, wiped out, then used ENGINE to clean and dress
Polished the muffler
Wiped out the convertible top storage
Wheels were removed, cleaned, and coated with VIKING COAT
Now to the correction steps. As this colour is a solid pigment, very hard to see defects to begin with, I found there was a few deeper marks, but overall a dull effect to the paint. Used MASTER COMPOUND and a WOOL PAD on a Rupes 15 polisher to correct.
Then INVINCIBLE priming polish to jewel on a Flex PE14
I apologize for the lack of before pictures, this colour, lighting, and camera were not working together and capturing them was hard - only ended up with a handful that turned out!
For the COSMIC paint coating, I applied two coats of GOLD METALLIC blended COSMIC - This product has 24 karat gold flakes infused to add a sparkle to the paint, I used this along with a gold tinted base to really intensify the yellow and gloss.
FINAL SHOTS!!!!
Thanks for viewing guys!!
