What's your favorite light polish?

I have never tried another light polish. M205 worked out great for me. No need to try other products.

You are definitely in the minority here. So you have never been curious if you could get better results with something else?? Or enjoy the ease of application of something else?? I'm a very open minded person and always want to try new things.

Having used both, I will say that I have never had any issues removing D302. It wipes of very easily in my experiences.

I will actually have a review of D302 published on the AAP Blog next Wednesday.

User error. Just got done using some on my hood, and I'm pretty sure I wasn't working it long enough last time. Made sure to make a good five or six passes this time and it came off like butter.

It's a terrible disease...

While I love M205, I've found finishing off with Menzerna SF4500 makes a difference in darker paints.

Ok I read it more thoroughly and sorry Bob I took it as one of your usual responses.
You were doing fine there, for a little while.

However:
Since I have never led you astray in
the detailing-advice-department...
What exactly is: One of my usual responses?

I was pretty impressed with the menz sf4000 and then i was tipped offf about the sonax profiline nano polish 3/6. It is amazing to work with, very little to no dust and wipe off is like using a glass cleaner (rainbow residue on paint is the indicator of end of work time, wipe it off) Comparing it to the menz, i think it has an edge over its ease of wipe off and less caking of pad. The menz, i think, has slightly better cut while finishing of amazingly. I am yet to try the sonax on soft paints, my only experience was with hard paint so that might be the tipping point.

You haven't that is correct. You come off as sarcastic a lot of the time. And it is true you have never done so to me and I apologize, I should have done my due diligence before jumping to a conclusion. :nomore: I hope we are all good :xyxthumbs:. What do you think about my bonding question and only using it before Nuba would be correct??

Great feedback another worthy choice since less cut would be fine for what I am looking for and like I said just starting out Perfect Finish definitely has treated me well.

Out of everything I have in my arsenal, Sonax 3/6 and Menzerna SF4000 are the only two that I use now for finishing polishes. SF4500 for those clients willing to pay for that final jeweling before coating.

Have you used HD Polish as well?

SF-4000 is a good finishing polish. However, it's pretty oily which can be a PITA to wipe clean and it will fill.

I haven't yet but do plan on giving them a go since I've heard nothing but good stuff about their polishes. I do mostly coatings and Carpro eraser makes short work of any residual oils from Sonax and Menzerna polishes so the "oiliness" doesn't bother me.

I have tried many. IMO CarPro Reflect finishes like no other. It finishes much faster than Menszerna 4500. G|Techniq P1 my favorite cutting Polish

Tiger, could you elaborate on the P1? What do you like about it compared to others you've tried? How does it finish etc.? Im curious

I've been using Pinnacle Advanced Finishing Polish recently and it's been pretty good. I'm gonna have to check out HD.
