props to Mothers for coming out with some of these new products, I look forward to trying some. This seems to be similiar to that of the products in the megs detailer line. it's nice to have choices and new products to try out! :xyxthumbs:

Mothers Professional Refinishing System, Mothers polishes, Mothers compounds, professional polishes, reconditioning system

i look forward to trying these, though i would like to try them all out lol...

I saw this on the Mothers site to other day........and was going to order it but now its here and I need some other things so I'll order here.

excited about these.

Very nice. I was just thinking to myself wouldn't it be nice if Mother's expanded their professional line. These should be good sellers for them.

I don't mean to be impertinent, but why? Is there something about it that makes it better than the Megs equivalent, for example?

D103 is nearly impossible to find let alone at a reasonable price, I'm not sure what the deal is, whether it's been discontinued or it's a formula revision, I've heard both but can't speculate either way. D101 from what I've heard isn't regarded with nearly as much praise.

3D APC is nothing to write home about, and while I've heard nothing but fantastic things about OPC, it's quite expensive (relatively) and doesn't offer the same dilution value. Haven't tried CG All Clean+ or Nonsense, Eco Touch is directed to use full strength, and the PBMG offerings are far too pricey for my tastes.

If it performs as well as D103 or OPC then it's an incredible value at that price, and I think that's where the excitement stems from.

that's nothing to write home about either. too bad you didn't live near me, i would trade it to you...

I predict the APC will be a huge hit.

It does look nice dilution ratio wise.
Called my attention as well.

Agree

Rumor has it Megs APC+ is no more. I have a stash just in case. I enjoy it. And $17 for a gallon with those ratios is nice.

I'll trade you for it. We're close by. Maybe I'll just come by and pick it up. :xyxthumbs:

Well in all fairness you have saved me another $10 so hats off to you for that.

everyone has their own preferences and who knows YOU may like it. the megs (green) apc works good enough for me (use it for tires, wells, engines, etc.) and is cheaper (half the price) as well...

I'm about to pick my first bottle of Foam pad polish and rubbing compound. I'll be trying it first thing tomorrow on a black Lexus with sticky paint. I'm hoping I'm going to get better results. I tried optimum products on this paint and the results were not as good. From what I hear from a friend of mine he uses Mothers professional polishes quite a bit on exotics that he works on and just loves the results. I'll let you guys know how I go with it

please report back and let us your honest opinion. with the new mothers apc and car wash available, these twins (may be another option to m105/m205) may be another thing to pick up. good luck with the lexus...

OK, now I understand. You want it as a replacement for D103 not because it is somehow a better product but because 103 is pretty much gone. In anticipation of that event, I stocked up on 103. I'm glad to hear I don't have to throw it away<g>!

Have to agree with Visitor, HD Total is nothing to write home about and with APC+ going away there is a real need for an affordable quality APC in the market. If only PBMG would come out with an affordable APC... hint hint.
