Pro Detailer wanted in Tallahassee, Florida or as far as Stuart, FL

Smokinss,

Im thinking about going with a full detail as well. What stage of detailing would you recommend for my car since it hasn't been detailed in quite a while?

Also it's in open market here and I would detail on weekends in the past. What's some good literature I can read to tighten up on my detailing skills and tools besides the autogeek university guides.:) I might decide to tackle Tallahassee on weekends.

To answer most of your questions without typing a novel. Mike Phillips has done the work in his books. I just got it last month and it covers quite a bit from start to finish. But to answer your question briefly I would go with a full detail consisting of proper decontamination of the paint/wheels followed by proper compounding/polishing and waxing or coating depending on your skill/budget. Hope this helps.

Also this book by Mike Phillips has a bunch of great info too.

Smokinss,

The bra just came off. No paint cracks! Thanks again! What do you know about a fill in clear coat solution? It was recommended?

That's great news! As far as a clear coat solution I think after a proper detailing/correction the car could benefit from a ceramic coating like Cquartz UK. It will offer great protection, ease of maintenance and protection from micro marring.

stuart, fl... I would just drive up to the autogeek parking lot...:buffing:
