Smokinss,
Im thinking about going with a full detail as well. What stage of detailing would you recommend for my car since it hasn't been detailed in quite a while?
Also it's in open market here and I would detail on weekends in the past. What's some good literature I can read to tighten up on my detailing skills and tools besides the autogeek university guides.I might decide to tackle Tallahassee on weekends.
To answer most of your questions without typing a novel. Mike Phillips has done the work in his books. I just got it last month and it covers quite a bit from start to finish. But to answer your question briefly I would go with a full detail consisting of proper decontamination of the paint/wheels followed by proper compounding/polishing and waxing or coating depending on your skill/budget. Hope this helps.
