In the 6 months that I've owned my foam cannon I've struggled trying to find the perfect spot to securely store this top heavy beast - until now.

Tonight while browsing the garage storage options in Lowes I came across this simple tool hook:

One wall anchor later, the hook is mounted, and performing perfectly:

For $.98 this DIY solution is hard to beat! :xyxthumbs:

I have been having the same problem - very frustrating.

This solution is awesome - thanks for sharing. We are not fortunate enough to have a Lowes over here in South Africa, but there must be something very similar somewhere.

good idea, that's the exact brand i use for the quick disconnect (bought it from lowes) for the foam cannon...

Nice idea. I just wish I had the wall space.

Thanks! If anything I hope this idea sets you on the path for a similar (and perhaps better) South African solution! My main motivation was after I knocked the cannon off the self it was resting on and ended up with a broken gallon pump dispenser head and a bruised knee from it crashing down!

Great idea! Seems to hold the cannon rather nicely for quick and convenient access.

Thank you, Sir!

I hear you, the hook is inside the closet I keep all of my detailing supplies stored in.

This is how I store my foam gun:

Rubbermaid's Fastrack Power Tool Holder is awesome for many jobs, but @ $10 I don't recommend it at a cost effective solution. Mine came from a guy on Craigslist who I bought his whole garage system for dirt cheap.

Great tips !

Rubbermaid's Fastrack Power Tool Holder s pretty neat also ! Thanx for sharing .

You bet! I also use a power tool hook for storing my work lights from.

I love the whole Fasttrack system - it's dead simple to adjust depending on your needs/ time of year. :xyxthumbs:

My former home's garage was decked to the nines with Elfa shelving from the Container Store. I haven't gotten around to hanging it in the new house yet, but you better believe it made the move to the new house.

If you have the means, I highly recommend it. Very durable and modular, and pretty darn easy to change up should your garage space need to be reorganized.
