you can use it to wetsand headlights/isolated areas, and apply wax/sealants. it's too bad the megs xtra-cut discs didn't come in a 3" size (only 5" & 6") because it doesn't have the foam backing like the cutting and finishing discs and i would imagine it would cut quicker and not bog down as easy...

With a 3" polisher like my PC, the energy is focused in such a small area that the Megs Cutting MF pads cut pretty quickly and easy to keep rotating on speed 5-6.

That little scratch looks to me like it might be a crow's foot type of crack rather than a scratch. If so it probably goes deep beyond the base coat. Could that be a possibility?

As for the GG 3" polisher, I've always looked at that as a cutesy little toy rather than a real polisher. Don't own one so couldn't say for sure..

yes, the PC will do it just as well and quicker, but the GG3 has it's uses and you can hold it comfortably with one hand which i like. buy a carpet brush and you can use it to scrub seats, etc,. if you don't want it, send it to me... :dblthumb2:

Pick-up a stiffer one to use for scrubbing tires
