They offered two different ring gear sizes ...8.75 (12 bolt) 8.20 (10 bolt)
The difference was that 67 had staggered shocks.One mounted in the front of the rear and the other behind the rear.GM realized this was a bad design and never went back to it again.They were so desperate to compete with the Mustang they rushed the car.The big block cars had a traction bar on the passenger side in an attempt to counteract the wheel hop.
