What are your thoughts on the Meguiar's MF discs on your Porter Cable?

The 3 inch cutting discs work very well. I use them with a Meguiar's 3 inch backing plate. The discs don't seem to hook onto the backing plate as well as the 5 and 6 inch versions, but that's probably because there is less surface area for them to hook. They can be taken off with very little effort, but if your pressure and technique is right, they will stay on during polishing.

Usually around speed 3. The paint was pretty soft (except for the repainted portions). I like to do a small test spot and inspect the cutting performance in regards to my speed setting before going at an entire panel. It's important not to use too much water, a few sprays on the panel and you should be okay.

I love sanding with the 3000 grit discs and polishing back to gloss. It's a great feeling seeing the paint come back to life like that.

Although the 911 was the highlighted car when I was growing up, the 944 was always my preferred car. This car is no exception.

I always wanted to own one of these. And the detail came out fantastic, Cquartz definitely improved the depth of the gloss!
