I walked in to work and resigned today....Last night was listening to Eric Thomas talk about your dream and going after your passions...Asked myself one question if I had a month to live would I die a fulfilled man...And I answered a resounding NO...So today begins a new chapter in my life...Wont be easy but I dare anything or anyone stand in my way...I have a plan with time limit goals for a detailing business and other personal goals....Appreciate all who have given advice..... Cosmin your posts has added great fuel to my Bonfire....In the words of Eric Thomas"I dont need a alarm clock my PASSION wakes me up" Wont be on here much will be busy building my goals and dreams...Thanks everyone

I knew a guy who did the exact thing once.....it didn't go well. Do you have any income to supplement what you got at your job? how old are you? any wife or kids? have you any start up money for new businesses...

I enjoy your fortitude and attitude, but here's hoping you didn't just do this with zero planning, or else no offense, you're in a big hole...

Of course I have 2 kids to think about... and Im 25 years old...

...and I just accepted an early retirement package...so now I can enjoy the things I have always wanted to do as well. Strange Irony.
 
Yeah, good luck. Hope you have some way of getting health coverage too man. Hope you thought about this more than just "lastnight" listening to a motivational speaker. lol

Agreed. I'm curious as to the age of the OP, and status of kids and wife, I know there'd have to be a lot of talking prior in my house if I made such a decision.
 
Good luck man. My dream is working in a Bass Pro shop or opening up a small time tackle shop.

Good for you OP. Stick it to the Man. Hoping you thought this out a bit and don't have baby birds to feed in the nest.

I'm thinking of quitting my job...Just so I can sit home 24/7 & do nothing.

But I have no balls.
