When Wesley dropped his Scirocco off with me, I noticed that the car was fairly clean, although he told me that it had 'black spots' on the paintwork that bothered him. Offcourse the car had to be washed before I would be able to inspect the true condition so we'll get back to that later on.

I started off with the interior as always

Dog hair (I assume) on the carpets

General dirt on the seats

I cleaned up the interior thoroughly and also cleaned door jambs after I finished the interior.

Next up was the engine bay. It wasn't all that dirty either. Normal day to day dirt in there

Engine bay was cleaned and the wheels thereafter. No pics of wheel cleaning unfortunately. I then washed and dried the car, IronX'ed the vehicle and started claying. Even after ironX, and tar remover the contamination was still bonded to the paint quite nicely  I then understood why I had a hard time with them.

Note - Wesley bought the car with the 'black spots' on the paint. He bought it brand new like that. Seems like the dealership got someone in to polish it off, and the failed.

Decontaminating the paint took me quite some time tbh.

For some reason it was the first time I struggled with this small pannel on the Roc. I could for the life of me not get that any better.

Thanx for watching

I love the Scriocco R. I wish they would bring it stateside. Great detail too, it looks better than brand new.

why oh why do we not get this in the states.....Oh by the way awesome job!

Ugh...youre telling me. I hope we get this MK7 R400 that VW keeps touting. Ill wait for that instead of a Hellcat.

Nice turnaround OP!!

Nice work on the Roc, those cars look great and I see it uses the same wheels our Golf R get here, nice! Its a car we would want here for sure but I'm sure it would compete with its own offerings, the GTI and Golf R but then again, you've got both of those cars there, wonder why its offered there and not here, hmmmm.

Keep up the good work, you really brought out that white to its whitest!

What finishing polish & pad combo were you using on the black plastic C Pillar and tail lights?

Thanx for all the positive comments guys. The owner was extremely happy with the outcome of his car.

Well you guys might not get the Scirocco but you do get 2door GTi's and .:R's which we don't. Unless you buy the Roc, and that sucks !!

@allenk4 the pics was taken before and after fg400 on cutting pads. I later finished them all off with cyclo green pads and pf2500
