Thank you Mike! I will look into the LC hybrid wool pads. Since I purchased all the hybrid foam pads in 5", I'll stick with 5" for the hybrid wool pads too.
Really nice detailed review Mike.
AG when will you get it?
Fantastic write up MIKE! Very detailed and great work toothanks for taking the time to do this my friend.
Awesome job Mike!
Nice write up Mike. I was hoping for a comparison like this concerning rotary vs DA and different pads. Good info all around. SC300 looks like a great product for hitting up paint fresh out the body shop.
Awesome review!! Thank you for all the information!
Peace!!!
Thanks for putting the review together Mike :dblthumb2:
I cannot wait to get my hands on some of this.
Great write up Mike!
Nice write up man!
Very well thought out and executed. I will be stealing some of this learning curve for any reviews that i will write in the future. I especially like the near scientific approach used for the comparisons. Great job!
Just have a few questions:
1. Do you think it is worthwhile to use the 400 after the 300 or would you just move straight to the 4000 or 4500?
2. Do you think that menzerna will release a polish suited to work with the 300 like a 3500 or something?
Thanks Will!
3. What I would really like to see is an ultra high end finishing polish such as LS5000 (last step 5000) that only has a cut level rated at 1 (SF4500 is rated at 2) but will finish out to an 11 or 12 where SF4500 stops at 10. This is only wishful thinking of course.
Impressive! Thanks for info. Yet another compound to add to the inventory.
Here's my question - what can this do, that M101 cannot?
Great, well thought out review. I think you covered every possible combination. Thanks for taking the time to do it.

Looking good Mike!rops:
Say there.... would that happen to be Air Force blue?
Have you tried the Menz Sealing Wax? It has (what they claim is) a cut level of 1½. It does however leave a REALLY slick finish! My daughter's new KIA Sportage had a problem with a coating failure (due to them not keeping it up more than anything) and we buffed it all out with the Sealing Wax and it really made it pop.
Take care Mike! :dblthumb2:
Outstanding review. The dedication of AGO members to share their knowledge and experiences just blows me away. I could spend all day just reviewing posts and learning. (Wish I had that much extra time)
Thanks again Mike.
Thanks Mike,
What a great demonstration. That took a lot of effort. I haven't ordered any Menzerna yet but I'm going to soon. I have to get the PE14 to replace my old, chunk of lead, rotary. Been wanting one for awhile.
Don't you think I should get the PE14 before getting the new PE8. I hope Flex will put a soft trigger on it.
Your opinion would be greatly appreciated.
Greatness.
What does the bottle of SC300 say? Is it made in Germany or USA? There are few products that are produce under license Menzerna USA. I think PowerLock and Car Lock are examples of these.
I think product like LS 5000 won't make any sense. Polish with low cut of 1 would be pretty much a Glaze. Hopefully they somehow work on improving finish level of SF 4000/4500.
