I like your too Bob;)

I like that one a lot Bob, saw it in the car magazine a while ago and thought "how could they make it?". I say this because it would be a seperate model from the "regular" Corvette and imagine the cost of that, YIKES!

That said, it would really be something if it came to be, "build it and they will come!"

The hierarchy of the Corvette brand could then possibly look like this:

•Base Stingray.......Starting from: $53,000.00
-Coupe
-Convertible
•Stingray Z51........Starting from: $57,000.00
-Coupe
-Convertible
•ZO6....................Starting from: $78,000.00
-Coupe
-Convertible
-ZO7 package
•The Zora..............Starting from: $150,000.00

Make me that more appreciative
of the ones we already have.

Bob

Whatever happened to the rumored C7 that was supposed to have a 5.3L, cloth seats and a lot less options and sell for around $50K?

Also, the more I think about it and even though the chief engineer said it wouldn't happen infront of a bunch of Corvette fans, I see the TT V6 making its way into "some" version of the Corvette. Let's keep in mind the TT V6 going into the upcoming ATS-V is going to be making "atleast" 450 hp, only slightly less than the current LT1 is making, torque is a little less @420 compared to what, 460 of the LT1, but who's counting, LOL!

I really hope "The Zora" makes its way to the pavement, honor the guy who really got this thread going!

Corvette with a (RMR) TT-V6...Possibly?:

•I'm thinking this is the: Corvette "Barra Edition"
-With all that She's had to deal with, it'd be awesome for her
to accomplish something no other GM Big Wig ever did.

Cadillac's near-future version of GM's (RMR) TT-V6...

GM didn't put all of that plant upgrade money into Bowling Green,
just for kicks. An XLR...again?

Remember the ME Four-Twelve, that Chrysler never gave us:

Bob

I always liked the XLR, especially the V, the first Caddy to break 6 digits! Not sure why their sports car never sticks around for a 2nd gen:rolleyes:

What a great thread !

My car arrived last week and I'm now starting the detailing process ..

Thats how the car looked before i started detailing it.

I set it in the rain for a couple of hours to loosen up the dirt , then washed it with car shampoo.

How about the Mako Shark:

......opps, I mean't this one!

I like how the story goes on the above car too! Bill Mitchell had a Mako on the wall in his office and wanted the car to match the fading color of the fish. They tried and tried and ended up painting the fish to match the car, classic!

I know this, Mako Shark sounds alot cooler than the cartoonish "Hellcat" does!

While looking for the pics in the above post I found this pic, now this car in Goodwood Green would be perfect!

I still like this car, alot! Its all about the wheels, the finishing touch, wrapped in redlines, perfect:dblthumb2:

"The Good Wife" just sent me this picture as a reminder...

...that it would be good to have this one as its stablemate!

Bob

Bob, that color combo and wheel selection on the Z06 is STUNNING!

She's got good taste!
I told her we'd have to sell off ours to get it though.
She said I could always go back to work for awhile...

I wish you guys knew how emotional I get over mid-year Corvette coupes! I've never seen a Goodwood Green 67' w/ Torque Trusts inperson before but when I do I will well up!
