So first post in Show and Shine and I know picture quality is poor, will need to invest in a digital camera soon.

Vehicle is a Black 2010 Ford F-350. It's my wife's truck used for her hauling around plants and landscaping so it gets abused. I can't let her drive around in dirty truck after all! The before pics don't show the full effect of how bad this truck needed some TLC so it received some treatment over the weekend, luckily the firehouse has a wash bay and is heated inside so I had a good place to work.

I was able to accomplish a lot with this setup but I think I may be stepping up to Flex 3401 (maybe for Christmas!!!). I was able to get most of the scratches/water spots out especially that scratch along the passenger side. Very happy with the outcome, may add a coat of WG Fuzion when I get home tonight.

On a side note, any suggestion on tire dressing for large knobby tires? I feel a spray would have cut 30 minutes off trying to get the dressing in all the knooks and crannies of sidewall tread. These tires are Goodyear Duratrac if that will give you a better idea of what I'm dealing with.

Thanks

Nice work!

For the tires - you could use something like CarPro Perl in a spray bottle diluted 1:1, or Optimum Opti-Bond diluted and sprayed out of the Optimum spray gun. That would save you a ton of time.

If you want to go with DP or Tuffshine tire coating, you would not have to mess with the tires for several months after the initial coating besides regular washes.

Looks great! Nice work.

For knobby tires or sidewalls with deeper recesses i spray my dressing onto it and then work it in with an old grout sponge i've cut up for that purpose. Takes longer but gives a nice uniform look.

Thanks for the feedback!
Using a sponge to apply the tire dressing was tedious and took a lot longer than I thought but it was necessary. I will definitely look into the CarPro or longer lasting coating.

Excellent work on that ford, you pampered that paintwork very perfectly.

I have Goodyear duratracs on two of my personal vehicle. Like stated above a Carrand brush makes dressing large nobby tires much easier. I like tuff shine. Do it once do it right. You won't have to dress them again for at least 6 months

Nice clean up job on that big Ford! Do you have an air compressor in the Station House? If so, buy yourself a cheap air gun (try to get as large a nozzle as possible) and shoot the tire dressing on that way. Some are more liquid than others. I used to use DG Wet Shine which is great and you don't need as large a nozzle. I've been using Opti Bond lately and I really had to change the spray gun to make it work. I level it with an applicator after I spray it on.

Thanks for the suggestions on dressing the tires! We do have compressed air at the station and will take a look at using a nozzle for application. Would also help with dressing the tires on our trucks. Trying to teach the members about proper washing of the trucks, just ordered boars hair brushes and grit guards to start. You figure we should have been doing this all along since these trucks go for $500,000 or more. Just ordered some WG AIO to try out on the older trucks to see what can be achieved with it.

Thankfully the wife listened to me and didn't drive the truck in the rain yesterday so when I got home the truck got a coat of WG Fuzion on top of the WG DGPS.

Thanks everyone for the comments. Hope to post more of my work in the future.
