Yeah but then when you honk to let the DB know he/she has cut you off, they flip YOU the bird! GRRRRR

I'll add to the mix here....

It's dark today- very overcast and snowing.

You think anyone thinks to put their lights on?
And the worst ones that don't have gray or silver cars????? :bash:

And then on top of that some of them got their sunglasses on!

Managers that micro manage and make employees feel like idiots. Deffintly motivation to get detailing business off the ground

DRLs F.T.W! Although truly, I mean automatic lights for the win. Too many cars with DRLs also light the instrument cluster automatically, yet leave all the marker and tail lamps off. How many times have you come upon a car at night with no lighting other than dimmed high beams, its driver completely oblivious even after repeated attempts to let them know?

I'm glad my car's exterior lights all come on as soon as I start rolling. I wish all cars did this.

I admit I drive with my sunglasses on... but I have photosensitivity.
One of the reasons I get all my cars tinted... that and it looks nice IMHO Im the MAN

I work from 12:30 till 9 @ night and see this all the time, or NO lights at all. Its seems the brainiac engineers make the dash light come with the key:banghead::banghead::banghead:

Common sense isn't so common anymore! I mean remember the good ole' days when you had to turn the lights on to get the dash and interior panel lights to come on:rolleyes:

I find the main offenders to be Nissan and Hyundai/KIA's (sorry Monica) The Ford Focus has been making a push lately too!

What the F Roger????? JK
I still stick to anyone with a silver or gray car are the worst (sorry Kyle).

I use my DRLs as well, but TBH, this is another example of how everyone is getting so lazy because the manufacturers are making it easier and easier on drivers... automatic headlights, not offering manual transmissions anymore (don't get me started on that one  ), auto this, auto that. Pretty soon we won't even be able to drive our own car.... we will just get in, and it will go. LAME.

People just can't drive anyone, period!

Tailgating, driving too slow for no reason, texting while driving, on the phone driving, no turn signals.... the list goes on.

and this is why I shudder when I hear folks that really want there to be flying cars. uhhmm, Nope.

All those goobers who won't change their oil, buy new tires, make sure they don't run out of gas, no way I want them flying above me in "control" of their own vehical.

The guy I saw with the piece of plywood held down with bungie cords and straps for a "hood" still gives me shivers. It was parked at a supermarket at the time but he had to get there and he was going somewhere.

Ah yes. No turn signals. That's just expected nowadays.

Funny, I am the opposite. Unless the spot where you are going to turn is going to slow down traffic, such as a right turn with somebody behind you and you have to slow down for it, I hate when people signal. What does the signal mean on the freeway? Does it mean let me over? I am coming over? Am I suppose to back off if they turn it on when I am coming up on them in the lane they want to be in? Just make your move, I don't need you to advertise it to me. I don't even understand how using a blinker in a situation where everybody is going the same direction and similar speeds helps anything. Either you look and change lanes with nobody there or you cut somebody off, blinker doesn't change a thing.

As far as cutting me off, if there is a gap, take it, I don't care, just don't take it and go slower than I was driving.

Other drivers more than grind my gears, they blow my trans. Just push the pedal on the right down and go. Stop being so scared, stop hitting your brakes all the time, learn how to merge at speed, when you need to change lanes on the freeway and somebody is there, hit the gas not the brake, and your car can take off and on ramps faster. GO!!!

You are part of the problem then. Your blinker is so people around you know your intentions. Its dangerous not to use your blinkers.

Funny how we carefully studied for our driving test, and intently tried to follow all of the rules and laws in the DMV handbook.

So why is it that so many of us have forgotten so many of the basic rules...like signaling intent to change lanes?!?!

As far as cutting me off, if there is a gap, take it, I don't care,

just don't take it and go slower than I was driving.
^^^What's going to happen if I do go slower?^^^

not only that, but someone who doesn't use their blinkers shows that they have no consideration for others, especially if you aren't too far behind in front of you..

Ah well this is awkward .................

I always figured some of them had a good reason. Like they wear glasses and only have there prescription sunglasses with them. But still I see way too many people out there driving through heavy storms with their sunglasses on. Doesn't seem very safe to me. Plus you're gonna have a hard time reading your text messages and surfing the internet!

I have to admit, I only use my blinker when someone else can benefit from it use. Otherwise, I don't like the ticking sound, and I'm trying to extend the life of my bulb and blinker fluid.

I'm sorry, you all don't get paid for your driving so you shouldn't be calling yourselves drivers.

/ducks for cover

Yeah and New Jersey has the worst of them. I can't even tell you how many times a day I get cut off or tailgated all while doing over the speed limit. I usually slow to the exact speed limit when this happens just to make whomever is tailgating that much happier. And the people that cut me off usually turn at the next street.

Nope, Jersey is not the worst..........Charlotte is!

People just can't drive anyone, period!

Tailgating, driving too slow for no reason, texting while driving, on the phone driving, no turn signals.... the list goes on.

I'm in Charlotte traffic all the time........I'll add some to your list...

Brushing your teeth
reading the newspaper or a book
Eating a bowl of cereal ( yep I have seen this many times.....)
lane jumpers.......they are usually the cause of all the brake lights
putting on make-up
drivers talking to their passenger with both hands
shaving

I'll probably think of more stupid things I see drivers doing but those above are the most common ones!

+1

Not to pick on the original poster of this, but it really is safer to use those blinkers, that's why they're there. Being considerate of others on the road is never a bad thing. IMO at least.

Frank isn't here right now...
So I'll try to help him out a little :D

I have a class A license
I get that I'm a professional and should keep my cool. It sure is tuff sometimes.

I'm not perfect but I was trained pretty well.

Everyone who gets their permit should have to sit in a tractor trailer for a week to understand how to use the space in the road
