Favorite Wash Mitt?

Ilike my micro tex mit, spong and pole sponge/mit, it works great for me (but the stock pole is crapy upgrade to a better pole). very soft stays fluffy

Hate mitts period. Wash media of choice is hands down...MM Incredipad.

I hate Non-Mitts

Using a mitt style agitator, I feel like I can more easily control the amount of pressure being applied

I generally hold my CarPro Merino Wool up off of the paint so that the hairs of the mitt gently "tickle" the paint

I have not been able to accomplish this with agitation tools that I can't stick my hand into

Isnt the Incredipad technically a mitt?

Side note i still need to order one of those..

MM makes a mitt, pad, and sponge. The outer fibers are the same on all three. The inner portion depends on which you order.

My next mitt will be a MM. I agree with Kyle,allenk4, above on his observations.

i have lots of badges on my cars, particularly my C, and don't have that experience. when i get near a badge i take the last third of the mitt and just lightly "scrub" all around the badge, to get into the angles and grooves. it's not a real scrub but its short movements at different angles. no real pressure other than what's required to keep the media in the area i'm cleaning. i think doing regular wholesale passes with a mitt past edges and badges might be your issue, but i dunno. i am thinking back to how i do it and if i do anything that isn't particular to a sharp edge or badge, i'm doing it "away" from the edge. hard to explain.

Appreciate the thoughts but I'm still confused as to the suggested technique. Any other ideas?

ive never had a problem with the autozone washmitts.

I use their green Pro Elite Microfiber knobby mitt and I'm not seeing swirls back on paint I've corrected. They're probably there but I don't see them. ANy way, seems to be a very good mitt.

I use a egg crate sponge gives you total hand control, and easy to spot any marring particles.last about 5 months, and it's like a dollar .

I have tried Chemical Guys but the inner lining tore up. I then purchased wash mitts from, The Rag Company. I really like these mitts...durable with very dense knobbies. I also use their microfiber towels exclusively.

Has anyone ever tried a Norwex wash mitt? Norwex claims you don't even need chemicals or soap, just plain water to wash the car

No, but latest Amazon review shows what I was thinking: "By JeffS on October 1, 2015 Mediocre wash mitt and WAY overpriced. Oh, and FYI, if your washing your car without soap or a no rinse product for lubricity, your inducing swirl marks no matter what mitt you use, fact."

I like to use my tennis shoes with the two bucket method. Use the bottom of the shoe for the lower panels and use the top for the body.

Adams wash pads they hold a lot of soap and water.
