Interior glass cleaning

The easiest, but not the cheapest, way I have found is the Glass Master Pro kit on windshields and rear windows. The Meg's PerfectClairity glass cleaner as well as Diamondite PVGC work really well.

Meguiars D120 for me. Cheap and dilutes a ton (1:10) so will last forever. $15.50 a gallon on AGO right now. Makes 11 gallons. Important to use distilled water for dilution.

Hey guys why should you use distilled water?

Hey guys why should you use distilled water?

Tap water will generally be filled with minerals. This won't cause issue as long as the surface is wet but, when it dries, these minerals do not evaporate away and they leave streaks and water spots.

For me Windex on all non-tinted glass (front windsheild in my case). Spray on cloth and wipe on glass. Use glass towel to polish. Rest of tinted glass get Stoner Invisible Glass again sprayed on towel and glass towel. I have tried at least 10 different glass cleaning products over 4 years and this is the best combo I have used.

Why are you not just using Stoner's for everything? What's the benefit of Windex on the windshield vs Stoner's?

Stoners says to use on exterior glass only. I use it on the outside glass, and use distilled water / vinigar on the inside (tinted) glass.

I'll be! It DOES say that. Abet kinda buried in the 'small print.'

That said, I've been using Stoner's for interior for well over 10 years without any adverse effects. I'm thinking that warning is because of the flammable warning, and of it being a possible inhalant.

She (who must be obeyed) uses 'in the house' all the time also. Nothing adverse from her either.

Just my 2¢...

I have (and have tried) them all. I use Stoner's around the house about as much as I use good ole Windex with Ammonia-D ;), whichever I reach for first in the cabinet. I stopped using IG on auto glass a few years ago when I got my gallon of D120, and I use glass-specific MFs (waffle-weave or rib-knit). I recently got a GlassMaster Pro kit, but have also tried the CarPro FastGlass towels with plain water. They work brilliantly!
What is IG?

Stoner's Invisible Glass. D120 blows it away on tough grime and film, and costs a fraction.

That's good news about Meguiar's. I've always used Stoner's on my interior glass due to the aftermarket tinting.
I use Windex on the outside due to the ammonia in it which is a pretty good cleaning agent. When all my "other" window cleaning products start getting used up, I'll try the D120. Thanks for the tip.

Am I the only person who likes Aquapel?

I like Meguiar's D120 Glass Cleaner a little over
6.17 times more than Aquapel's Glass Cleaner. :)

Has anyone tried ZEP Ammonia-Free Glass Cleaner Concentrate? I have been using for exterior glass. Performance is the same as IG. Despite it is a tint safe it smells too chemical to me, so I use rarely on interior glass side. Super economical, $11 a gallon, dilution 1:32. If I had the containers I could send you guys some to try it out. It will take me lifetime to finish it.

Next time I'm at Lowes for grout sponges and weed killer I'll pick up a gallon.

3D's glass cleaner is a concentrate for a 50:1 dilution. I'm either getting Meguiar's or 3D's glass cleaner once my bottle of Invisible Glass is empty.

You can use anything to clean the inside glass. The best one is "don't touch". Literally just don't touch the inside glass lol, but I use rainx on the interior and have tints and I'm fine
