Introducing the DP Turbo Car Dryer! 6.5 Peak Horsepower Blower for Drying Your Car!

Looks great! If only there was a way to add a shoulder strap.

Hey brother, just joined the Rogue ranks. Traded my 03 Xterra after all these years for this Rogue SL Saturday.

Looking forward to getting my new DP Turbo Dryer and trying it out on this. The pollen is already out of control down here in Tampa. Looks like it should be here tomorrow or Wednesday.

Detailed with Rupes Duetto, Menzerna new 3-n-1 on yellow LC Constant Pressure pad, Wolfgang 3.0 applied with Rupes 75 with 4" Blue LC Pad. Black trim sealed with WG Trim Sealant, interior dressed with CG Silk, still my all time favorite interior dressing.

Looks like you may get it first! Please let us know your opinion :xyxthumbs:

Will most likely use it this weekend, like I said the pollen is out of control down here right now. I detailed it yesterday an the hood was green this am.

I've got a pearl white Rogue SV with tan interior. I currently use a leaf blower to dry it. This looks a lot easier to use.

Wasn't this on sale yesterday?

Seems that the sale is over and the price has gone up . must have been a sale price for the first few days it came out. looks like we missed the boat. myself I was hoping to see it in action before purchasing one.

Works great - gets 90% of all the water off. I'm pleased but have no basis of comparison since I've never owned a master blaster.

I guess I'll hold off until the next sale :xyxthumbs:

The master blaster is a pain in the ass to drag around. This looks to be awesome!

Nice! Any other details? Videos? Pics?

Not really. Think the product pix tells the story and a video would just be loud-sorry.

Funny you still need a towel and some detail spray to finish up the drying process but the blower dramatically cuts down the amount you need to "touch" the paint. Certainly has enough power (but again no basis for comparison) and is a blessing when doing the roof of an SUV. I was considering an electric leaf blower but when I went to HD I discovered their size was unmanageable for my intended task. This unit is small and compact so pointing it to the ground is easily avoided.

Looking at the write up the unit appears to have one speed, just an on/ off function. can you confirm that ?

That's true. One speed but after using it several times I don't think variable speed would be necessary or appropriate.

thanks for the confirmation. thinking that 2 speeds would be helpful if you are drying in a garage as full speed pointed at the wrong thing, can be messy. would like to see this thing in action if somebody has the time to shoot some video. maybe I am just over thinking the one speed design but I am looking to get away from towel drying soon and this unit may be less cumbersome than a master blaster , especially in a garage setting.

I've used it in the garage without any issues. Granted if you point it at a shelf full of towels then it will blow them all over the place, but so long as you keep it pointed at the car you'll be fine.

that makes perfect sense Nick and kind of what would be common sense. trying to decide between this and a Metro drying unit. have a good quality Rigid vacuum so I would just use the tool for drying. guess I kind pictured having my gas powered blower on full blast in my garage, never really need full speed as it is infinite speed. using full speed with the gas blower in my garage .... that would not be cool lol !
