Arizona Audi R8 - CQuartz Finest "OCD Detail" - Wheels Pulled / Full Correction

Wow you two really knocked that one out of the park. The work that went into the wheels and the wells came out great. The attention to detail you guys went through is simply amazing. Thanks for taking the time to document the job so thoroughly.

Thanks to all of you. Documenting the work was definitely a job within itself. Trying to capture red in its true condition isnt always easy lol, but went pretty well. Glad you enjoyed the billion pictures :)

Do you have AC unit in garage? How do you stay cool in AZ with the garage closed?

i'm also in AZ, its tough to wash/ detail my car right now in heat

Well since this post we have moved into a shop...but when we worked from home..no, no ac in the garage...just lots of water lol.

Our new shop has AC in the office and a swap cooler for the garage...which doesn't make it "cool" by any means, but it does help more than not having one would :)

I would love to see the car in person, I am sure the pictures do not do the car justice. I am sure the Audi has never looked that good.

I was wondering what pad/product combination you had to use to correct the CF pillars?

Every time I read one of your posts it makes me strive to be a better detailer.

Oh man, you're testing my memory now lol. If we used a 2" pad we likely used the lake country tangerine or cyan pads with 205...if we used 3" we likely used Megs microfiber FINISHING pad and 205 and then finished up with a megs or LC finishing foam pad.

Bravo! Looks great! What type of belt is that? The one holding your products while you're buffing.

Its the Rupes belt that we're using in the photos. However we have since changed to the Detailers Helper belt...both are great but i find myself only using the Detailers Helper one...its kinda nice because the newest one even has a sleeve to slide your buffer into so you can have your hands free, rather than having to set it down on the ground (which i find myself doing more than id like!)

The HD belt is the one im using now: https://detailershelper.com/product/detailers-helper-hd-tool-belt/

The HD belt looks awesome!!!
Thanks for sharing ^^
