Whoever did the painting and subsequent polishing on this car really needs to find a new way to earn a living  That work of such poor quality passes as acceptable blows my mind, especially considering it is someone else's pride and joy they are hacking up....

They certainly left their mark, and not in a good way.
-Buffer trails
-Dirt nibs
-Sections of dry spraying
-Fish eyes
-Sanding marks
-Polish residue everywhere
-A long cut into the paint where some vinyl stripes were obviously trimmed on the car
-Overspray

And some masking tape he forgot to remove  :bang:

Great Work Lawrence! Car was really in a sad state, im sure the owner was blown away with the results:dblthumb2:

:dblthumb2:

Lawrence my friend, as always you have produced yet another masterpiece of high quality detailing! Even better - you are sharing it with us! :xyxthumbs:

Thats a real nice looking Polo . . . NOW. Sometimes you just shake your head when you see other peoples incompetent work & lack of care. I see it that often that I just get lost for words. Especially painters down here, not all of them I must say but way way too many below average finishes. If you don't like doing quality work then why choose an occupation that I believe requires it? :nomore:

Anyhow - Top notch write up Lawrence, informative & an enjoyable read. Photos are superb as always, love the before & after shots as much as the finished pics.

As for your workmanship Lawrence - well - it goes without saying mate - you're a true artist my friend - hats off to you! :props:

Big fan of your work Lawrence, thanks for sharing.

Aaryn. :dblthumb2:

Great job Lawrence once again. White is a difficult color to make pop and set it apart from other white cars.

What a great way to get a feel for your new Hybrid pads on some jacked up paint. Like you said, that painter needs to find a new job.

Nicely done good sir. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you all very much indeed for your kinds words - I really do appreciate them and it really humbles me when coming from well respected detailers such as yourselves

You are all too kind :dblthumb2:

Thank you very much. Like all of us, I really love detailing and to be able to share my work with others and have others share theirs with me, via an awesome place like Autogeekonline is a very humbling and rewarding experience. I have found no other online forum with the sense of community and free sharing of knowledge on the net.

In paying respect to that, and trying to honour Mike Phillips principle of 'each one teach one', I will always try and include as much info as I can, so that hopefully someone will learn from me, as I have learnt from all of you:dblthumb2:

Looks amazing great write up and great results with enough practice and time I will be that good
