Buff and Shine Now Available @ Autogeek!

What would be the difference between the white, green, and blue pads?

The other colors make sense, but those three colors seem to fill the same position filled by the white LC Flat Pad.

Also, how does the backing integrate with other backing plates? It appears to be very similar to the felt used by LC on the back of their pads, so I'm hoping it wouldn't take a plate swap to try them out.

The white is a closed cell prepolymer pad, similar to the crimson hydrotech.

The green is an open cell 60ppi light cutting / heavy polishing pad.

The blue is a 70ppi open cell polishing / finishing pad.

The white LC is a blended pad, partially closed cell pad.

Ah, that helps. I didn't pick up on the closed cell/open cell part.

Thanks.

My favorite finishing pad for sure.

The red B&S, which is only in the 5.5" line is also closed cell, but unbelievably soft and forgiving.

The 4", and 6.5" white pads are open cell 100 ppi. I haven't used them yet, but I imagine they're of a similar softness.

Great for applying LSPs as it doesn't soak up allot of product.

That's great that AG has added B&S to their line-up.

I threw my LC pads for the far superior B&S pads a few years ago and haven't looked back. B&S pads are TOP QUALITY.

Whenever a new Brand comes available at AG we not only know it's good 'stuff', it's an assurance this product will be described and reviewed accordingly to our standards so we can make right decisions when picking up some.

Plus, customer support will now comment and answer about B&S pads which is a bonus.

Great News!, congrats on new line.

Kind Regards.

If you have never used B&S before I suggest picking up the green polishing pad. This pad is absolutely amazing ! It is the ultimate 1 step pad IME. Finish's excellent on soft paint. But it also cut really well on harder paint. Its a very soft open cell foam pad that makes buffing very easy as it contours around every curve, and cleans out very easily. The edges are NOT rounded so you can buff up to the edge of a panel very effectively.

IME they also make the best spot buff 4" pads. They are very thin and do not deform, so you can use them at a higher speed then the LC 4" pads.

I'm always amazed at the performance of this pad.

The black finishing pad is very similar in terms of performance and feel for finishing purposes.

I'm with you there, big time. The green foam is my starting point for cutting. So far it's worked best with M105/UC.

The blue pad is great with finishing polishes too, especially if your looking for more bite. Than the black pad offers.

ha! it's funny because this pad is what started me down the path to B&S in the first place.

several years ago, i can't remember specifically why, but there was a hole in the LC lineup and i needed a mild cut 4" FLAT pad. so i ended up buying the Cyclo greens (came in pairs) which, were i later found out were in fact B&S. i used an original PC for a long time so i tended to stick to the smaller pads for obvious reasons and probably used those pads the most or close to the most, maybe tied with the original LC flat orange 4".

when i started looking at B&S branded stuff, i was worried they used the backing like the old Cyclos...you know, with the hard glue...somewhat inflexible, but nope - the backing B&S uses nowadays is PERFECT.

I started with the Cyclo pads too and started using B&S too. I liked them since they worked with the polishing pad and just got more of the larger ones.
