*New* Lake Country Low Profile Pads

i couldn't help but notice browsing the net that these (7/8" flat foam pads (8 different colors) with 45 degree beveled edge 3.5"/5.5"/6.5" X 7/8) are now available. hopefully AG will carry these soon!

the lack of this sort of pad that wasn't hydrotech is exactly why i went to buff & shine lol. in fact some of the first pads i ever used were low profile LC orange pads that sorta just disappeared several years ago.

glad to see they are offering them because imo low pro pads are great.

:iagree: exactly, you must of read my mind lol. i loved the 5.5" low profile orange pad they had years ago and they disappeared. i pm'd staff many years ago about ordering them and they said they weren't bring brought back because they weren't popular or in demand enough...
 
I just got my 6pk of LC flat pads from AG and they are all 5.5 x 7/8 with black backings as pictured.

^ those have the rounded beveled edge with the velcro extended to the edge (not a fan of these particular pads, but that's not to say you can't accomplish the same thing). where as the new ones shown are more like the hybrid/hydro-tech series (i prefer the cut/design of these pads better, it's personal preference no right or wrong). the backing plate will fit the hook & loop perfectly/snug with these since they are cut back...

I can see the difference in those pics. Hard to tell in the first post.

Heard the hydro techs fall apart so I went with the flat pads. I also have the LC HD pads which seem like my 3" hydrotechs.

So many pads = so many headaches lol
 
Why not carry all eight, just picked up some 5.5" Pink light cut at DI on sale. We need a pad sale here on AGO. The shipping is a killer.

A pad sale would be great. I can fill my Hydrotech stock.
 
I use LC flat pads which are said to be low profile. never had problems with it :)
 
Some Tangerine Hydrotechs just showed up with the new design. They look nice and solid.
 
Are the hydro-tech 6.5 pads 7/8 or 1 1/4 ?

It doesn't say on the product page what the height is ?
