Reload has a MEAN look afterwards. Very oily, and definitely "fills" swirls. But like the OP it never seemed to last too long. I always cooked it up to me using it (improperly) as a topper on my Waterless Wash, They say the polymers affect the bonding.
I love many carpro products, but many are clear misses too for me. I love IronX & Perl for interiors only.
Spotless sucks on any hard water spots that are fully cured, only works well on the freshest hard water spots.
SUPER eager to try essence, but rest assured I will buy the smallest bottle first! =)
A few of the WOWA sealants I've tried, WG Liquid Seal, Optima Opti-Seal, and Ultima UPGP can be, or seem a bit "oily" initially if you're a bit too liberal with the application.
But always, a simple follow-up with a clean MF towel some minutes after perfectly cures any such over-application issues.
I'm not of course expecting CP Reload to last like a Paint Coating would, but only want to use such a product to enhance, and prolong the present CQ UK Coating my Tahoe wears, nothing more.
There is probably 10 dozen products on the market I could use as a topper, probably any of the WOWAs I list above, Aquawax, nubas, sealants, detailer sprays, etc.
My wishes were to hopefully and "wisely prefer" to keep such protectant products "In the Family" so to speak, and is one reason I'm trying to persist, and persevere using Carpro Reload as a topper over CQ UK rather than any other product.
Maybe instead of Reload, one could possibly have success with CP Hydro2?
My goals and hopes are to of course enhance the life of the CQ UK Coating is all. And to tell the truth, I am a bit afraid to start experimenting ala mad scientist with different topper products, at least on this vehicle I am.
But, should I find this new Bottle of Reload not behaving properly, I may not have much choice to then sample-try other enhancement products over CQuartz.
