Griots DA

Don't really like posting links on AG. Search for Griot's Garage Facebook. I believe it is also on Griot's Garage's website homepage. It is a 4 letter word and it definitely starts with a B. There have been a few people that went to the flagship store in Washington that were told to wait til June 6th to buy a polisher if they can.

ummm links to Facebook wont get you in trouble.

Its BOSS as they trademarked it (for a long throw polisher) recently.

Let play "guess the price" of their new polisher.

Ill say $239.99

I hope you are in the ballpark because if they price it too high it will be too close to the Rupes price.

I think that's too high. At that price you are practically eliminating any interest from the shade-tree/daily-driver.

They better stop around the $180-$190 mark.

It wont be under $200 and the regular guy can still buy the gg6 for $139.

I just think $100 more than the gg6 yet $160 cheaper than a Rupes puts it in the perfect spot. The other 21mm knockoffs are $275-$299 so youd be undercutting them too.

Think it will use all the same pads and backing plates they currently offer?

If in fact it is a new 21mm or 15mm throw polisher it most likely will be the one made by MaxShine who makes the current Griots DA. If that is the case it uses standard backing plates like the PC, Griots DA etc, but they may be the ones with cooling holes to disipate heat.

I've seen one website from the UK that sells it for about $249 in US $$, but Griots may charge more if they sell it with a lifetime warranty like the current DA. Who really knows until 6/6. We can only hope.
