Product Review: BlackFire Waterless Wash Updated Formula

Great review Mike! Do you happen to have the old BF WW forumula?

Thanks James!

I do not.

Helpful review Mike.

How would you compare the performance with say, Ultima Waterless wash , in terms of dirt lifting ability and surface slickness?

Thank you sir.

It has been ages since I have used UWW+ and therefore I can not make a direct comparisons.

If I were it would be purely on memory and I would have to say they generally perform identically.

Awesome work again. Must say I feel lucky to have a great friend and neighbor to help me keeping my ride in tip top shape and look just as good as it performs cant wait to see what we can do and try out next! keep up the good work buddy! and thanks everybody on here that shows the same love for the car that I do!

Thanks for the kind words Kyle. Hope your learning a thing or two along the way. :props:

Great product, its what i have been using lately as well on the last few cars i have had in the garage. The GT-500 came in with quite a bit of dirty on it, my wife asked me if i was going to break out the power washer. I sprayed the BFWW and all she was wow, nevermind

Thanks Vargas. :iagree:

I have really put this product to use the last few days not only for paint work but also door jambs and under hood detailing.

No surprise she was astonished.

Nice car :xyxthumbs:, and great review! I really like the rims on your ST, if I ever get aftermarket rims that's the style I will be looking at.

You got it, Mike. Very close to pulling the trigger on an e92 M3!

Thank you I really appreciate it. I wanted something different that not many people had. There's only one company that carries them in the bolt pattern for the car so took some searching and waiting but im absolutely in love with these wheels.

Dilution ratio is 1:48 - wow! One bottle would last me a lifetime. Nice review. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks David.

With a dilution ratio of 1:48, a single 16oz bottle of concentrate will yield 6 gallons of mixed product.

To make life easy, use a 48oz sprayer like the one in my video. This will give you 16 spray bottles of Waterless wash.

Hi Mike. I wonder how the Black Fire Waterless Wash would be compared with Ultima Waterless Wash, since dilution ratios are almost the same, 1:48 to 1:44 (UWW). The container and product's color pretty close as well. Have you ever tried the UWW?

I'm going to guess the same manufacturer makes both products. And guess that they are very similar except color.

It's pretty easy to buy bottles like that. It's also pretty easy to dye a product any color you want. I'm sure it's also not that hard to make something more or less concentrated.

I would highly doubt they're the same product and doubt the manufacturer is the same company.

Seeing as the topic of comparison between the BF WW and UWW+ has come up a few times, I went down and pulled my last bit of UWW+ out of storage to do a small comparison.

I did not put these two head to head in a WW wash fashion. Rather I took a picture showing the color difference. I did however give them the old finger test in that I rubbed them in each hand.

UWW+ is a bit thinner with moderate slickness and has more of a water feel to it. After it dried it I could hardly tell anything was left on my hands.

The BF WW posses more richness to its consistency with more lubrication to it. After it dried up it was more noticeable of the protection and slickness.

I will let you guys take it from here and be the judges for yourselves.

Thanks for the review.

After I use up my CG Eco wash, this will be in to replace it.

I haven't been disappointed with any BF products yet.

Been off for a while but your reviws haven t changed , keep it up my friend !

This is good feedback. I have been hesitant with using UWW+ compared to Poorboy's Spray and Wipe due to its thinner feeling consistency despite the cost advantage. Now, I am interested in trying the Blackfire.
