Ferrari California Correction Detail

Hey AutoGeek, one of my clients wanted us to perform a Correction Detail to remove swirl marks and other paint defects on this Ferrari California.

Cleaning:








Correction Process:
Flex XC3401 Speed 4-5

Menz Super Intensive Polish/Meg's Maroon Cutting Pad

Menz Power Finish/Blue Polishing Pad

Menz Powerlock Sealant

How was the paint hard medium ? Why did you finish with power finish and not sf4000 just curious never did a ferrari good job

Good Question... In a 2 step process I want to make sure to finish down with enough abrasive so I can clean up any light swirls from compounding. If this was a show car I would have finished with SF4000 to make sure to get the most gloss as possible after using Power Finish. Sounds like over kill but the SF4000 is really easy to use so that step is very quick. Thanks for the comment!

I completely agree... There are some many little things I wish I could have done to this car, but the client wants to drive it a lot so perfection wasn't his goal. As you know... Perfection= Time+Money... Thanks for the comment!
