This car is pretty neat just because it is a split window.
What really makes it unique is that it still have the ORIGINAL OWNER, and only 11 things on the car are not original.

One of the non original items being the paint. It was done in 1983 with aircraft grade acrylic enamel. So the paint on this car was in very bad condition and VERY THIN. The owner knew this and so did I in case of any misshaps.

I did not get to many 50/50 shots because I did not have much time.

Overall the car came out great. The owner was nice enough to take off some of the emblems and trim for me. Not bad for a 32 year old paint job and I gave this guy ONE HECK of a deal. Topped the car off with WolfGang Fuzion wax. Hopefully I get to coat his 2014 Vette.

Now that's one fine example of
what a trophy winning Detail
is supposed to look like... :props:

Very nicely presented car. Love the reflections in the frontal shot.

That's my all time favorite body style for any America Car. And you made that tired black finish scream "show car" :dblthumb2:

Just not in black. I had a next door neighbor buy one new in 63 in Metallic Blue with the blue interior. I sure did love that car. His parents sold it after he died in Vietnam.
I was ten when he got it.

This gentleman tried selling this when going to Vietnam for $2400 but no one would buy it.

Great job...looks sweet!
Thank you very much

It will be the last polish that car will ever get. Paint is super thin. Hope he takes car of it the way I asked him to but set in his ways.

Thank you

Hands down my favorite Corvette. It is simply a classic. You did a great job on a beautiful ride. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice car & so is your work. I don't know if you know (probably you do as you don't mention it) that nano coatings can only be applied to new paint like Vette 2014 you mention. Some people do this even on single stage paint & new simple paint without understanding that pores there are too deep for coating to stick. Maybe it's a good way to squeeze $ from unconscious customers but besides this it makes no sense whatsoever.

Yes, I actually had a few discussions with some members and Corey and CarPro about coating it. The general consensus is that it will look amazing but the coating will not last to long. So I used Fuzion wax to keep it protected.
